Literally never made a mistake and in fact was very good.

Good call. I thought the same when I watched the full replay. I waited for those horrible stuff-ups that he was supposed to have made. Nothing.

The conclusion has to be that when people have decided a player is shyte they stop believing the evidence of their eyes. They will see things that aren't there, blame him for anything that goes wrong in his vicinity and fail to see anything he does that is constructive.

Meanwhile, favourite sons often get latitude from the fans that is not afforded to fringe players.

Yep agree, Bramble has been good since being recruited. Sure he isn’t Dale Morris but he’s steady on bargain basement coin
He was excellent last year, this year not as good but still contributes.
I’m not sure what people expect really.

Absolutely my feeling aswell. Couldn't drop Bramble or McNeil off of thier games last week alone, they were both solid. Playing against the tigers is an extremely different prospect to finals though and it's when some pressure is applied that these guys crumble.

I wanted Bramble out for JJ this week purely for team balance (would've preferred Dolan stay in). Certainly nothing to lose sleep over though.
