All teams and games in Melbourne. The VFL deep state might have finally achieved their objectives.

Funny how that works.

Victoria still having community transmission, but VFL happy to have all the games there anyway.

Possibly still have a bunch of transmission that they haven't tracked down too(based on wastewater results).

No decision on the impact to our game yet, but would be shocked if a full capacity crowd is allowed. Not that it matters that much given crowds are generally only just over 50% capacity regardless this season.

SA Health has already been in contact with Adelaide Oval too

Given how many journos were going with the lockdown narrative, I’d suggest Tredders is just trying to be first rather than being right

Nah VFL have tasted blood in the water, they're going to use this opportunity and **** any state that tries to stop them by daring to not lock down to support the narrative.

Kane just going with Port leaving for Melbourne, nothing about us. Yet SEN then posts an article quoting his Tweet and says we are both leaving 🤪.

Can't see them dropping 4 players. Most changes will be 2 I think.
Agree they probably won't do it but they should. We have no chance of beating Brisbane imo so it would be good to get a game into some debutants. I can't see the ins offering less than Mackay, McAdam, Rowe.

SA Health said they are fine with the game going ahead here, just need to work out the crowd
Had a feeling they would travel to Melbourne along with all the other clubs as there is no certainty from day to day. Better to get everyone in a hub than cancel games.

The next two rounds could be played exclusively across Victoria and Tasmania’s six AFL venues as the competition congregates in the bottom south-east corner of Australia.
South Australia recorded five cases of coronavirus on Wednesday as the highly-contagious delta variant spread rapidly across the country.

But the state government said it would not be going into a lockdown situation in the immediate future despite being very concerned.

Adelaide and Port Adelaide will join the exodus to Melbourne on a shared charter flight on Wednesday, with the precedent set by Tuesday’s sudden evacuation of the four clubs based in Perth and Queensland.

They’re still guessing, we haven’t gone into lockdown like other states. The narrative by Kane has already changed to ‘most likely’.

Just got this text from Ticketek.

RD 16 UPDATE: Ticket redemptions for Crows v Lions have been temporarily suspended, pending an update from SA Health. Further information to be advised tomorrow.
Not going to matter is it if both Port and the Crows are on a shared charter flight to Melbourne this arvo?

A stint in a hub would dramatically increase our chances of a good draft pick
Would like to see a game live though, as it's been about a month.

Then why are they flying out to Melbourne this arvo on a chartered flight?
