At times you can see the gears turning inside Kelly's head
I actually dont mind this though. At least he isnt blindly disposing of it. Rather he takes his time, yes it helps the opposition but his kick should be 30-40m down the ground

Should he be better? Absolutely

Don't you want them to drop all the players that were s**t, as per the other thread?
Too many to drop? ;)
How about Doedee (possible concussion, if so won't play) and Murphy (re-arranged face)?

Hahaha nah. Kelly was awful, the rest just had a classic s**t day. Plus Kelly is being played out of position and our ball movement is suffering for it

I said before the match that the only reason we would play Kelly on the wing is that we are tanking. He can’t hurt the opposition when he gets the ball (and he is no ball magnet) but he can certainly hurt us.

On a couple of occasions he used his tank to receive a handball and he somehow slowed down the ball movement. He is a lockdown defender, please do not play him on the wing again Don.
Agree, he took some good intercept marks.

Murphy plays with the backyard nose job. He seemed quite alert.

Doedee will be out for 1-2 weeks at least, but that will bring in Walker.

D-day for Kelly coming up, Smith will be expecting to take his spot back by Showdown.

As someone else said a while back, DMac can come back as long as his arse never leaves the bench.

Why was Murphy kept off? Because of the nose or concussion?

We certainly play it ultra safe with head knocks.

As he came off he didn't look concussed but he certainly looked like he had a broken nose. But they no doubt will put him through the concussion tests during the week to be sure. Doedee was certainly concussed and he'll more than likely miss next week.

He's a liability imo. Not up to it yet.
Didn't put a foot wrong the whole game?

Won or halved every contest. Good intercept marks. Used the ball well.

I was worried about Doedee's neck too at the time. He got driven onto the ground awkwardly after the hit. Amazing it wasn't a free.

Well... not amazing. At all.
