Lycett obviously celebrated a little too hard after the Port game. Hopefully this is a harsh reminder that he is nowhere near an AA ruckman

Hopefully it also reminds a few opposition teams who are offering him deals of this as well.

The goal was key but I thought he was poor last week. Sure he had a lot of kicks but a lot of them were bombs that were cut off easily by Port’s defenders.

I think you are a bit rough there but each to their own.

1 in 3 of his disposals were direct turnovers.

He keeps finding a way to get a single goal at the end of games but not sure it’s enough.

Since the bye he’s gone goalless twice, kicked a solitary goal on four occasions.

Averaging 1 goal, 2 tackles a game since the bye, compared with 2 goals, 3.5 tackles before.

I know we don't think much of Haggers, but after that ridiculous call in 2015 that Kennedy would miss the season with an elbow injury, he has actually been pretty accurate with announcing when he will and won't return from injury. This makes me nervous.

The problem with that is what do we do for a ruck next season, Vardy & McInnes isn't exactly going to strike fear into opposition ruckman's hearts

What part timer though? Not really anyone back at EP who looks like being able to handle some ruckwork. Brander and Allen are too skinny, everyone else is too short or McInnes.

I must have been watching a different game at the ground today. I thought sheed was excellent, kicked an important goal and hit up several targets around 50

I feel like he has become the masten of 2018, everyone quick to jump on him for every mistake

While he has been poor this year his last two weeks have provided us with a lot of drive into forward 50 in a similar role to gaff and like gaff he tends to always hit the scoreboard.

There certainly isnt anyone demanding selection in the WAFL, would be stupid to drop him now he is finding form again...

Hmm, dunno, I think it would work better with a key forward myself but if Lycett leaves who knows what we'll see next year. Doubt we change our structure for the rest of this year anyway.
