I wonder if the pick swap is having any effect on our selections? We're going all out for 8th spot, and the coaches don't trust youth. The rebuild's not allowed to officially start untill 2020.

First year as a full time ruck in the AFL is different to running a fat Balderstone around the park. Didn't play that much last year either.
However if he is being rested then don't pick him and leave him home.

With a fit list and reported happy pre-season I was particularly bullish about us for this season. We should have been challenging for the flag, with the annus horribillis last year behind us, yet here we are.
I don't know whether to be excited by the prospect of change, or terrified things will stay the same.

This is pathetic - they've obviously told him to pull his head in, but between this and Chapman's bullshit the other day, the media theme is now clearly - 'we're improving and developing, we'll get there in the end.'
