Think Brown has still a way to go before retiring - whether he makes the senior side or plays for East Perth will be the question - will depend upon injuries. Unless you're talking about him being traded at the end of the season?

I know getting game time is good for Duggans development, but really, he wasn't great in the NAB cup and his hasn't done a hell of a lot 2 rounds into the season to cement his spot. Butler is another one who is really being gifted games at the moment as well.
When healthy:
IN: Wellingham, Sheed
OUT: Butler, Duggan
The team instantly looks a lot more solid to me.
I'd persist with Lycett for just a little longer. But, if he fails to impact up forward, and Giles comes into the side, bashes and crashes packs and is good for a goal a game it might be a case of deja vu in the WAFL again this season for scotty. I hope i am wrong, we would be a better side if he could just fire.
One last thing: I am the biggest Nic Nat fan going around but he has now has 2 golden opportunities against Hawthorn to rip a game of note apart and on both occasions has finished with less then 10 touches for the game? Nah, thats rubbish. He's actually making the Hawthorn ruckmen look good. I know he is basically the one of the best blokes going around but he needs some serious headkicking for that (lack of) effort. In particular when he is getting his hands to the ball 40+ times a game in hitouts in the center......What has happened to his vaunted follow up work?

Be nice just to see a night derby again.
Lycett is averaging 10 touches and 15 hitouts a game after two. Yes a goal or two would be nice, but we have a potent forward line (minus Hawks game), so that its not essential just yet. Given he's played 30 career games, and shown a lot to like, I think we'll give him a lot more time, and deservedly so.
It's hard for Nic Nat to dominate Hawthorn because our midfield has been getting smashed, he can't do a second effort if the ball is pinged from the contest by Hawthorn before he gets a chance. There are honest questions about the setup at clearances for the team in general. Another thing to note are that Hawthorn are a very physical and drilled team. They don't let him get runs at things, they always body him and restrict his run and ability to get into the contest. When the team is getting flogged it's hard for anyone to look good, and yes he's part of making sure we don't get flogged, but the team in general needs to lift as well.

Added to his willingness to bite, you would have to put him in the Beau Waters category of hard men (or at least the Conca cateogory).
