Don't see why they can't give him a crack up fwd.
Hed hit the pack harder than anyone else up there and he can actually kick over a jam tin. Couldnt be any worse than HBerg.

The problem is if he does well next week, we'd have to drop him for Tex to come back in. This way we can drop Himmelberg Fogarty next week.

Is it more beneficial for him to play in the fwd pocket in the 1's or play midfield in the 2's? Genuine question as I've heard he's not fit enough to play mid in the 1's.

I get that it's disappointing for him, even more so that Rachele got the opportunity in the middle in the last quarter in front of him last week.

I can't understand how our key forwards are Berg and Fog.........Port's defence will be sh1tting bricks!

That "Not fit enough for afl midfield" crap really starts to wear a little thin when you look at what our fitter/experienced players serve up year in, year out.

I remember that selection day and not close to the same vibe either. RT for Berg, Pedlar for Murphy and Tex for Fog and I would be happy with the team; only two of those changes seem somewhat realistic for next week though.

Thilthorpe needs to gain confidence in the 2s, it would be doing more harm that good from what the club is saying.

Junior actually isn't fit or in form after missing 12m. Rd 1 showed he shouldn't have been picked then, at least we undid that mistake.

I'd have played Murray up forward, dropped Berg and Frampton down back.

Pedlar on the other hand - he should be in the midfield rotations, not a permanent forward. If it's fitness, give him 5mins a quarter at least. We have enough small forwards who can't kick goals, do we really need to add another one? At least Pedlar scored a goal last week!

Oh dear, they are some terrible selections, wow. Pedlar one week and out. Frampton for Murray I can live with, but Murphy for Pedlar is horrible. Had no issues with Murphy as sub, but would appear Pedlar gets that role now.

I'm not arguing with you, that's something I heard. There's no reason to say he can't play a half or a quarter in the middle, but we just seem to chuck them in the fwd pocket and leave them there.

It's been a constant for years now and not just limited to Nicks.

Rachele has managed to get in there in just his second AFL game (not having a go at him as he has some serious class about him) and he's more of a forward than the rest of them. I just can't see the logic in it.

I noticed one of Hawthorns best players was last week, Ward, a first round draftee that is already getting serious midfield minutes in just his second game. Why can't we f*cking do that!!
