How does Gibbs get named even on an extended bench.

Two wingers in Atkins and Seedsman out... who else on the bench fits those roles?

What a clownish outfit we have representing us.

We don't have the inside midfielders to drop a Crouch without bringing in Gibbs ( for his own development, Shoenberg shouldn't be brought in until ready). But f**k, I'm hoping it's a warning to Crouch rather than an intended change. Gibbs could also be taking the half back role to allow Hamill to the the wing, but Gibbs has been worse at half back than as a mid.

For me, McAdam to take a forward spot for Ned/ Chayce to be midfield, Berg/ Frampton for Tex and Poholke on ball. Effectively going an additional inside mid and one less outside mid.

Other option would be to bring Hartigan in instead of Poholke for extra height in the backline, but not a fan of that either. Also think we would go Butts not Hartigan if we wanted another KPD.

Hmmmm that wouldn't be a bad start but that midfield somehow remains unscathed. Although they've obviously done away with Seedsman at the clearances, which was a fail.

What we have dished up in the last two weeks has been putrid. How bad do players need to be to dropped?! The changes are puzzling, getting absolutely slaughtered in the midfield and we didn't bring any young midfielders in.

Quite possibly, but our focus needs to be on the best development for Schoenberg, not reducing a big round 4 loss by a little bit.

We do. Poholke is literally that player and better than Gibbs.

You could put McHenry in the guts the whole game. Gallucci there, O'Connor there. There are options without resorting to a 31 year old who is completely finished.

Never thought I'd say this but hartigan needs to come in. Our defence is an absolute sh*t show and I think his inclusion may only mean a 50 point loss, instead of a 70 point loss.

Again, again, the midfield is being smashed like no club ever..don't put too much blame on defence..BUT the defenders barely worthy persisting with would be Turnover Laird, Nondescript Brown Model 2020 and 'I go missing for most of the game' Smith.

I'm not going to melt yet, wait for the 22. Tell me this, we play Seedsman in a role he's simply not suited to and then drop him from there.

Plays very good football on a wing in 2018 then for some strange reason Pyke plays him in the forward line in 2019 then 2020 comes around and he’s played in the middle of the ground at centre bounces in the pre-season then the season comes back and Nicks plays him in the back lines against an avalanche and drops him, that’s how to destroy any capability a player might have.

Give him 2-3 more games.

We need to build a habit of giving young players 4-5 games to acclimatise and show they are worthwhile. 2 games and dropping is just wasting our own time.
