If we do select Frampton or Berg, I hope that when we rest ROB during the game we throw him to the backline and give McAsey a stint as the forward.

This is the classic Netball example of there's two little girls, who are the same age in the same team. One tries really hard comes to all the trainings, loves the club but isn't very good at the sport but is so happy to be out there playing, stays behind after the game and packs everything up. The other player has an attitude problem, only turns up to training when they feel like it but is a really solid player who can catch and throw really well but as soon as the game is finished wonders off to the footy club for some hot chips.Did you miss the spray Godden gave him earlier in the year?
Gallucci was told, in no uncertain terms, to pull his ****ing finger out and stop coasting. The selection committee won't even consider his name until they see a massive improvement in his application.
It's really not. The problem is that Gallucci is that little girl who only tries for half of one quarter, and goes MIA for the rest of the game. She's really good for that half of one quarter, but a complete waste of space for the remaining 3 1/2 quarters. This is the classic Netball example of there's two little girls, who are the same age in the same team. As a coach it's hard, you want to reward the effort but its to the detriment of the team.
For sooo long the club has always picked the good guy, the nice guy, the hard worker from a good family. Over time constantly picking those types has rendered us with basically no talent.
Do people really think that if we went back to the 2009 draft and we had pick 2 that we would have picked Martin? No bloody chance we would have gone all in in Trengove. That's our problem and it has been for a really long time. We reward the good guy over all else and it is why we have a boys club hiring situation too.
Throwing ROB to the backline isn’t going to give him a rest, probably best to keep the moves simple and not play ring a ring arosie, one for oneIf we do select Frampton or Berg, I hope that when we rest ROB during the game we throw him to the backline and give McAsey a stint as the forward.

Nicks is the same, very honest in any interview I’ve heard from him. It’s a refreshing change. Not sure about Godden's coaching, but I definitely appreciate his honesty when interviewed. He doesn't hold back, or sugar coat the truth. None of Fagan's patented "don't say anything to anyone" bullshit.
This is the team I'd like to see in a couple of weeks.
FF: McAdam Berg/Frampton Stengle
HF: Lynch Fog Brouch
C: Sloane Jones Gallucci
HB: Sholl McAsey Smith
FB: Brown Talia Doedee
R: ROB Mrouch Poholke
I: McHenry, Hamill, Butts/McPherson, Crocker/Davis/Keays
E: 4 of Seedsman (Wing only!), Laird, Kelly, + those named with / but missed out
Out due to injury: Milera
Not to be played again unless required by injury: Hartigan, Gibbs, Tex, Mackay, Atkins, Knight, Wilson
Not ready yet: Shoenberg, O'Connor, Gollant, Worrell
To be trialled in a new position in reserves: Murphy
Unlikely to ever play a game: Strachan, Taylor
Our main training is today thoughI wish the AFL would get rid of the Sunday team selection rule.
The side should be picked on Thursday and that's it, with emergencies there's absolutely no logical reason at all for the 24 hour delay.
Nicks has confirmed Walker is in this week.
As is McAdam.

If they drop a name midfielder I'd still call it even.Ok, Walker in the team is a failure.

Whoever wins the punch on at the main training gets a startI do wonder what it means for Berg/Frampton.
If we play all 4 talks we've truly lost the plot.
It makes sense IF they drop a Crouch for Poholke and rejig the midfield, after all that's the biggest concern. That is ******* disappointing.
If only Seedsman is dropped I'll be furious, it's not good enough
Good news about McAdam, but I think dropping Tex should be the call. Structurally what we are doing now is not working.
My guess is that Poholke is definitely coming in for Mrouch then, surely Seedsman won't be the only senior player dropped.
Can't drop Walker. He is critical to pick 1.Nicks has confirmed Walker is in this week.

Maybe Lynch out?Nicks has confirmed Walker is in this week.

We snagged a beauty with Hamill ... can see him consistently being in our top 6-8 players within 2-3 years .Not totally correct, played predominantly across half back for the Dandenong Stingrays but also played some decent midfield at times and I suspect given his height and potential to fill out with maturity I think long term Hamish and the team had bigger plans than just defence for Will into the future. I think we were lucky to take Will where we did because the Saints were reportedly pretty keen on him with their next pick.

Did anyone seriously think he would be dropped? Club cares more about protecting their own than getting better.Ok, Walker in the team is a failure.
