Gallucci was told, in no uncertain terms, to pull his ****ing finger out and stop coasting. The selection committee won't even consider his name until they see a massive improvement in his application.

Do people really think that if we went back to the 2009 draft and we had pick 2 that we would have picked Martin? No bloody chance we would have gone all in in Trengove. That's our problem and it has been for a really long time. We reward the good guy over all else and it is why we have a boys club hiring situation too.

It's really not. The problem is that Gallucci is that little girl who only tries for half of one quarter, and goes MIA for the rest of the game. She's really good for that half of one quarter, but a complete waste of space for the remaining 3 1/2 quarters.

Don't get me wrong, we do have a history of backing in the little girl who tries really hard - but Gallucci is not the little girl who performs really well but isn't a team player.

Throwing ROB to the backline isn’t going to give him a rest, probably best to keep the moves simple and not play ring a ring arosie, one for one

Not sure about Godden's coaching, but I definitely appreciate his honesty when interviewed. He doesn't hold back, or sugar coat the truth. None of Fagan's patented "don't say anything to anyone" bullshit.

Nicks is the same, very honest in any interview I’ve heard from him. It’s a refreshing change.

Given how shit we've been in the middle so far this year, I honestly would love to see Nicks just throw Gooch in the middle and see how he goes.

What's there to lose? At this point we couldn't be any worse. Maybe the opportunity to play for his football life might see us get the best footy out of him.

The side should be picked on Thursday and that's it, with emergencies there's absolutely no logical reason at all for the 24 hour delay.

Good news about McAdam, but I think dropping Tex should be the call. Structurally what we are doing now is not working.
My guess is that Poholke is definitely coming in for Mrouch then, surely Seedsman won't be the only senior player dropped.

That depends. If Gibbs is brought in for M.Crouch - it's still a failure, because we've gained nothing out of that. Poholke and I'd also say evens.

It makes sense IF they drop a Crouch for Poholke and rejig the midfield, after all that's the biggest concern.

Our MO is to drop as few senior players as possible and back them in to eternity.

Not totally correct, played predominantly across half back for the Dandenong Stingrays but also played some decent midfield at times and I suspect given his height and potential to fill out with maturity I think long term Hamish and the team had bigger plans than just defence for Will into the future. I think we were lucky to take Will where we did because the Saints were reportedly pretty keen on him with their next pick.

We snagged a beauty with Hamill ... can see him consistently being in our top 6-8 players within 2-3 years .

We do have an unfortunate habit of stalling development with our outside midfielders. That said, hopefully, and its promising he's already getting wing time.

I did. We highlighted the need for a second ruck, and well, that's the only thing Tex is offering now is just being a body to throw there.

I assume he'll get horrifically exposed by Brisbane and that's that.
