Have to say I'm pleasantly surprised, I actually wouldn't have been too critical of his selection this week as he'd have played inside mid and likely wouldn't have disgraced himself but Blakely getting the nod says everything you need to know about the transition period we're entering.

He's played 1 game dude. I'm not bothering to count preseason games as you said "at AFL level" which I don't consider them as being. I think he'll get an extended run like Weller is having and Langdon had even if he doesn't set it alight.
