He's played 1 game dude. I'm not bothering to count preseason games as you said "at AFL level" which I don't consider them as being. I think he'll get an extended run like Weller is having and Langdon had even if he doesn't set it alight.

All I'm hoping for this season is the small improvements week to week. I hope people don't expect them to become superstars overnight.

I think its a pretty fair call to say he has been underwhelming in his afl games (preseason and normal season)
Hope he plays a ripper this week or at least gets an extended run at the big time now with fyfey out!

Why do we play with three tall defenders when Dawson, Johnson and Pearce (was McPharlin prior to 2016) are available and as soon as one isn't change our structure. At least bring in Ibbo or Hughes if you're not going to play another tall back there. This really does piss me off as its a chance to give a new a new defender a game or two and we just throw it away so Sutcliffe or Sheridan can have asses handed to them by Tom Lynch.

Damnit - no Ibbo, no Hughes, no Morabito - think I'll be watching the Peel game this week :)
Dropping Ibbo only for him to come back in without having needed to show any improvement in the WAFL wouldn't have been too logical imo. Mora still needs a couple of weeks and we have the luxury of letting him develop a bit of confidence there, no need to rush him. Agree that Hughes was worth a shot though, we need to try something new in the backline AND his WAFL performances have been strong. Still confident we'll see him very soon, possible that the rationale is to avoid throwing too many kids to the wolves at once which I agree with others can be detrimental to their development.

Fair enough, I was including what i saw pre-season which in theory should have been a bit easier. Hey we're all hoping for the same thing, hope he goes well.

I only thought Ibbo was a chance because Johnson being injured. Never expected Mora. Hughes I was also hoping but after Ross said not too many youth the past couple of days, expected it was unlikely he'd be in. I am actually keen on all three of these guys playing together in our seniors B22, so them playing Peel together this weekend will be good to see how they work together. And with Yarran up the other end it should be an interesting game. Pity Apeness is still a week out or it would have been even better to watch.

Uber will still be there for you! Keep an eye on Tanner too because sounds like he's starting to get hi mojo.

I like the changes. Keep it simple, throw Mundy up back, give Blakely a nice initiation
Honestly uebergang should go somewhere now, freo just not a good place for player development if they don't change the way they do thing. He performance getting worse each week.

Where would he go? He's a first year player who has played 5 or 6 games. No patience for a tall taken on the rookie list?

I am mystified by the selections this year. Why are we going in with only 2 tall defenders against a team that has 3 good kpf? Is the club tanking? I am tipping a 100 point belting here.

I got patient but look at wood , vandelluer the list go on freo just not good at it.

Walters,Hill,Fyfe,Johnson,Sandi etc,etc ,etc the list that goes on and on says you are wrong. All clubs have picks that didn't make it Meima.
All of them go straight to afl with little time playing in WAfL,apart from Johnson and Sandi. Fyfe actually playing very well for Claremont as forward but miss set shot in one game like 1: 5 or 2: 5. Let's hope the three amigo ,Hughes ,grey all turn out well.

Salim Malik lets be honest if you look at WAfL report at afl is roughly the same every week compare to what is written here.

Ridiculous thing to say about a player that's just been put on a rookie list and also a developing tall. Has a lot to learn about playing AFL, your jumping the gun.

Walters played a season near enough at Swans, Sutcliffe East Fremantle. The magoos are for young players to find their mojo. I can't understand why you would want the youngsters being elevated before they are ready.

You are wrong I don't want them to elevated before they are ready , I want them to had a position in peel they can mirror to where their main position are . eg- deboer play inside mid for peel how could he get so little of the ball when playing for freo. We can't move developing playing position too much to expect them to mature , they are not Nat fyfe or pavlich.

Again I don't follow you, who at Peel is being played out of position. Your man Uber has played both back and forward at Peel and in Freo match sims.. As yet he hasn't nailed either of the positions but he's young and will take time. He is getting plenty of specialist training at Freo sessions. This morning he was out after the main session practising his kicking with a trainer.

Do a list of delisted draftees from all clubs . All clubs have swings and roundabouts with drafting.

I hope you see it as just my concerned, the people you mention like Walters and sutty is before the alignment , after the alignment so far I only see sheriden can be term as success, croz ,blakely , Weller ,grey just recently break into first team because of injury and our bad start of the season.
