• We are badly missing Talia down back, bring in McAsey as a tall and free up Doedee to play the third-tall interceptor that he excels at. Look at how Lever is going now that Melbourne have May and Tomlinson as the main talls, the same will happen to the Dude once we get some height down there.

McAdam VERY lucky. He's largely been a passenger this season but there's no one that can really replace him.

The only post so far suggesting Fog needs to be dropped. What games are people watching? How long do we need to persist with gifting him games. When Tex plays he doesn’t have a role forward and frankly he’s not a midfielders arseh*le. He actively makes our structure worse.

We are rebuilding and seeing if Fogarty is part of this and he actually looked good playing as a midfielder in the SANFL, hence got the call up.

McPherson is lucky to survive the cut. I see plenty of people wanting to bring in both Worrell & McAsey - I disagree. We're definitely 1x KPD short, but we don't need to bring in 2 more to sort that problem. Worrell alone should fix that problem. I have chosen to cut McAdam instead of Rowe, though it's really a 50/50 decision. The Fogarty/midfield experiment has to end now, it's not working, and it's never going to work until/unless he sheds 5+kg of muscle and gains some mobility & agility - replace him with Berry, and our "2 midfielders short" problem today becomes "1 midfielder short".

Fog we need to persist with for as long as we can, he has an AFL player in him and we're really playing out this year to find out what draft pick we have. McPherson survives because we're running out of defenders, though I'd have him playing a more offensive role to see if that sparks him out of his slump.
