Interesting how everyone goes out of their way to make excuses for the completely ineffectual nonexistant pretty much contributions of Jones and Ned and excuses Milera for so, so many games on basis that by eye they have 'talent' that they haven't delivered on with any consistency - oh they need to be played in the guts, oh they were under too much pressure in the guts, oh they never get to settle they're with/without responsibility but unarguably these three players have contributed more on average.
'Talent' is irrelevant if it never delivers.

Are there any articles/videos that analyse good/bad midfield setups? I know our midfield setup sucks, but I don't have a good understanding of why it sucks (i.e. too stationary and just waiting for the ball, too reactionary, opposiiton setups better than ours)?

Whispers seem to be building on Strachan? I don't want to get too excited about seeing him play just yet though. All last week they teased us with Butts, like low cut shorts.

If he's in then McAsey either slides into Hartigan's position or out. Hopefully the former.

Will Josh Kelly be the new Mackay that is listed in everyone's outs every week for the next 8 seasons? We're defender-heavy so it would make sense to change the mix but we seem welded to him.

I'd like to see a Davis-Stengle-McAdam combo in our forward half. Just a bit more excitement up there and it takes the pressure off each other in those traditionally hot n cold positions if we can expand the options a bit.

Does Matt Crouch get a do-over after Monday? Was a shocker but we know he's better than that. Doesn't look fit to me. Never been quick but is struggling to cover the ground at anything more than a waddle.
