Healy gives him a run for his money

Though Derwaynes constant references and comparisons to Port wear thin quickly
Brereton absolutely shits me with his over analysis of what's clearly the obvious...waffler extraordinaire and David King not much better. give me Wayne Carey for expert comments any day

A lot of chaff and not much wheat in amongst the lot of them really

Name age games played for this weeks squad

Brown 27 157. Talia 29 193. Hamill 19 5.
McAsey 19 6. Doedee 23 27. Laird 26 150.
MacKay 32 222. Jones 20 15. Lynch 29 146.
Hartigan 28 104. Smith 28 174. B Crouch 26 90.
Stengle 21 7. Walker 30 195. McAdam 25 4.
ROB 24 27. M Crouch 25 115. Seedsman 28 105.

Murphy 21 37. Gibbs 31 266. Kelly 25 82. Atkins 26 100.
McHenry 20 6. Keays 23 36. Himmelberg 22 9. McPherson 21 2.

Not exactly a rebuild squad. 9 of them will be gone within 3 years. At least a couple at the end of this season.

No reason why Mackay and Gibbs should be in the squad.

im actually speechless.. its beyond comprehension.

its almost as if they are deliberately trying to piss their supporters off..

Nah, it's worse.

They literally couldn't care less what you think. Your likely response doesnt register for them.

I don’t care, it’s the principle of it. Matt played the worst midfielders game in recent memory and is rewarded with being named on the field on Thursday night while our most consistent and best mid is named on the pine. I’m not standing for this sh*t anymore and I hope others email the club tonight too.

Welcome to the team mate.

Shame to see they’ve finally broken even your spirit.

Only positive is, it’s quite cathartic when you realise what a ****ing shambles we are, and nothing will change until competent leadership is in place.

Quite a release to just sit back bemused at the constant incompetence.

Funnily enough it has allowed me to enjoy this footy more than I ordinarily would.

Easily the worst changes of the season, why are we continuing with Hartigan, Mackay, Gibbs, Murphy like play the bloody youth, which we need to develop, playing list cloggers too long is why we're in this mess
What are you talking about, we were in final contention a few years ago and reached the Grand Final 3 years ago....the list was in very good shape after 2017 so it isn't the reason why we are in this mess, we all know what caused this massive list turnover.

Not sure about this attempt to turn Hartigan into the contested marking key forward we desperately need.

Just another desperate attempt to keep a senior player in the side, like what we're doing with Laird and Seedsman.

Can anyone confirm whether McPherson is out? If so, I’ll be ropable. It seems he is...

Murphy should not replace Stengle, be pissed if he does, waste of an inclusion
Gibbs can replace M Crouch, but would have preferred Schoenberg or Wilson
Himmelbeeg and not Strachan, seriously, Berg will impose himself on the match as much as a 5 year old girl would
Atkins, another outside runner who applies no pressure

We are hopeless in the centre, don't tackle or apply pressure, so the ins are a tall and outsider runner who doesn't tackle, a small forward that does stuff all and a player on his last legs. Training must be a weird place with some damn good medicinal gear on the chuff

Wilson will not play another game for us only if we are desperate.

Kelly or McPherson pretty much have to go out as we always only go with one spare defender. Can't omit Jake. Integral for our ball movement. Gibbs or Atkins taking McPherson spot. Very unlucky McPherson if he goes out as he has showed something.

Cunning move by Nicks.

You can usually rely on Hartigan to provide a couple of goals to the opposition each week from brainfart turnovers. Hopefully playing him deep forward will save us two goals a match. Is there room in the forwardline for Jake Kelly?

i actually dont mind brereton... he reads the play extremely well imo. he’s also definately got a soft spot for many crows players..

but yeah, Wayne Carey is my favourite for the expert commentary..

both were unbelievable footballers.. Carey IMO is the best I've ever seen in my lifetime.. **** i used to hate watching him tear us apart in the 90’s but I also admired it at the same time.. just in awe of the blokes ability to turn a game.

Laird has actually started to turn his form around, one of the very few senior players to move into a new role and not completely suck at it

His attack on the ball was good in the Saints game. Wonder if he could play Matt's role.
