Problem is with the midfield and we bring in Berry which just makes it even slower.

Surely Berry will play the Murphy role. Small forward up to stoppage, tackle pressure etc. I doubt we put him back in the middle

It's been very hard to gauge the Jones form. He's hardly touched it and from memory, has had zero influence when did get near the ball.

Picking Berry wouldn't be the worst thing in the world except that he doesn't have a clear role, so being sub would be alright.

We literally have cause to drop 15 or so players. That is how bad we are going.

But we take the cowardly option and shuffle our depth players around again. Parnell is another waste of space plodder who will get delisted this year or next.

We needed to make an example of a senior player and it had to be Smith or Laird.
