Prediction Changes Rd 6 vs Giants

Sutcliffe: 109 games (over 9 seasons) for an average of 9 kicks, 4 marks, 5 HB and 3 tackles.

its even worse if you just look at the 5 games for us: 33 kicks = 6.6 av, 11 marks = 2.2 av, 20 HB = 4 av & 14 tackles = 2.8 av.

its hard to believe even a first gamer who might even be a tad out of their depth cant give something close to 6 kicks, 2 tackles 10 touches + they would be 10 years younger and be getting their first taste of the top flight footy.

Congrats you are one of the many reasons the PAFC is a shadow of it's former self.

And that is the bit you dont get.
They did say it to players faces not on a Keyboard.

How much would Georgiades learn from following Haynes and flying for the ball everytime he does
Not a lot really. That would mean he's just bringing an extra defender to the contest making it even less likely for our dominant marking forward to take a bloody mark. That's the rubbish that Marshall produced for most of the Brisbane game.

Would be much better if he was getting some separation away from Dixon so that Haynes wouldn't be in a position to drift in and people the extra man double teaming Charlie.

Its funny how people in here go on about how we should pick Marshall simply because we have a good winning record when he's in the side. It doesn't matter how well Marshall is playing we should just pick him anyway.

So Fremantle played in a Grand Final in 2013, finished top 4 and lost a semi in 2014 and, finished top of the ladder and lost a home prelim in 2015.

I'm more worried about how they use Haynes on a Robbie Gray type and expose him than him chopping in front of our 3 talls but each to their own

This completely misses the point, which is that not only is our winning record very good with Marshall in the side, but it's very bad when Marshall is out of the side. That's the difference.

True we should just pick him anyway no matter how he is playing if we don't have another KPF to play.

The fact that he's been one of our best players this year is just a happy little bonus.

What it would do is make Haynes accountable for a tall forward. Georgiades would be flying for everything and Haynes would have to worry about stopping his opponents opposed to just trying to intercept by playing in front of Charlie.

To be honest I feel a bit meh right now. Not really melty, because we all saw this coming (and we have not dropped a tall after a pasting, a positive sign).

It's just more of the same. A golden opportunity to see some exciting young talent wasted. The language of the press conferences is still quite defeatist and defensive. The team is behind the eight ball even before bounce down. We exist to not lose by very much.

Hopefully by Sunday morning I'll get fired up by the GD thread.

Not if Georgiadies is flying at the same contests that Charlie's at. Which is what he was doing in the trial game against the Bulldogs and against Gold Coast.

He needs to be away from Dixon while being a valid target for us to kick to instead.

This is it.

Hinkley absolutely loves the low ceiling, low impact type who might show up a couple of times a season and have a big game.

Sutcliffe might play fine on the weekend, but he'll take what will no doubt be 3-4 games now away from a player who would get a lot more out of them and might give us something different structurally. If Sutcliffe is just going to play forward, why not just play Georgiadis or Williams or Bergman? What do we lose by playing a talented teenager in this spot?
Hinkley's middle name is mediocrity and it is entrenched as our club's mindset.
