McPherson deserves to be dropped but not sure who replaces him. Upon reflection we can't keep playing him out of form or injured so I agree he's out. I would bring Worrell in for Murray and possibly move Murphy into McPherson's spot. The other option is that you bring Jones down back as a direct replacement or restructure the backline.

FMD if we can give Mackay over 200+ games, FFS we can do a lot worse than give Newchurch a chance.

I also have no doubt there are some players that may be average at SANFL level, yet when they rise, they rise to the level of the competition they are playing in.

They were well in advance of Newchurch then..... And still are now.

Fogarty's SANFL performance is being underrated.

He was the unused sub on Saturday, which is very difficult and mentally draining what with the constant warming up/warming down and not knowing if you're going to get a run. It's more taxing than playing an AFL game I'm reliably told.

So he effectively played 2.5 games on the weekend and was reasonable in the back half of his second game and first half of his third. Needs to be rewarded.

Maybe he's just too stupid to understand the mental and physical stress of the role. You need 200+ games of experience to find it difficult. Fog is a long way from that. Pure ignorance.
