I woukd.love to see a new star emerged this weekend

A young player that has that breakout game and really announces himself to the competition and gives him that confidence moving forward

The same downside for playing Jones and Fish early

Today destroyed their confidence, not to mention their bodies have struggled ever since

I hear this all the time but is it true? If they’re not playing AFL they’re playing SANFL. Also against men. Is it THAT much more taxing playing AFL vs SANFL league.

If we use the ball sensibly this will keep Aliir and their other defenders accountable

If we just bomb to our deepest forward they'll be able to concentrate their numbers there and will have a field day

Wuh-oh

difficult you’d think. Schoey and Berry are very much bit players to the primary mids, 20 touches would be a big effort. Sholl has already arrived and McPherson doesn’t seem the break out type. Up forward McAdam is injured and Rowe very average. Thilthorpe might given the higher caliber opponent compared to his debut. Who else is eligible? Berg I suppose.

the good news is that being predictable and consistent with our entry depth is only helpful for our forwards. Defenders will be totally bamboozled.

Not sure how true it is, but a mate told me this afternoon that Russell Ebert has been sent home from hospital and has only days left.
Hope it isn't true. Not only is he one of the all time great players, he's also one of the great humans. Just an incredible person.

Very sad if true.

I’m old enough to remember the titanic battles between him and Barrie Robran in the 60’s and 70’s

Always respected him

Can we get a poll going on if we prefer Himmelberg or Frampton to play the non statistical key forward role?
as long as there is a “neither thanks” option..

i see absolutely no point having TT and one of Frampton/himm in the side.

would rather tt, fog and tex at this point.. with no lynch.

would also like to have an in form Mcadam back

wouldnt mind Rowe to start showing something

wouldnt mind seeing Newchurch given a game or two just open his eyes to what is required in the big league. Think it would be a valuable learning experience regardless of if it ends up with him getting pantsed..

So the players not in consideration are O'Connor, Strachan, McAsey, Borlase, Newchurch, Cook and Davis

Those in consideration are Worrell, Fogarty, Frampton and Jones

And Pedlar not named in the SANFL so it's likely he hasn't come up for this weekend's games either.
