Tunbridge is being given a chance to show if he's worth another year, otherwise he will be delisted.
This is not the time to be experimenting ......he's had three years

Well considering Nelson has never played forward it's not surprising.
Would of rathered Karpany over Tunbridge though
Think we will have our hands full with Lobb Cameron PattonI'd like to see Elliot yeo play back this week and let gov play a full game forward
He's not keeping anyone out who's that much better than him, so I wouldn't call it an experiment. It's fairly pragmatic if you ask me. Of the guys on the chopping block (i.e. out of contract) he is the only one who might have the talent to make it and we need to know what he can do at AFL level to see whether he gets another contract next year. I don't think he'll make it but given our current circumstances I understand fully why he is being given these last H&A games to prove himself. This is not the time to be experimenting ......he's had three years

You make it sound like he's McGinnity who is a very well known quantity that has never delivered over a pretty long career. He's played 9 games, and in that time shown that if he can at least find the ball he might be a player. Giving him 5 games in a row is not the worst idea, especially when like many have noted, he is not keeping an Eddie Betts out of the side.
Tunbridge and Nelson are not currently playing the same role in the team. It is not 'a like' for 'like' situation. We're upset that Tunbridge is playing over Nelson not butler
Probably more chance of Nelson being able to take Shaw out of the game than Tunbridge, but who knows.Tunrbidge needs to play on Heater and stop him from having influence, i'm fine if he can do that and not have a touch himself, however, he's probably going to not get a touch and let Heater have 30. Good times.
4 or 5 of these were kicks in junk time of the last quarter.Regarding the Nelson thing, does Simmo and the MC know that we are going to leak possessions through the midfield with or without him and has opted to bolster the defense.
Lets face it with 16 possession last week, its not exactly earth shattering

I'm pretty happy with what we got TBHWhat changes did everyone want?

We will beat GWS. Bookmark it
Huge game.
In: Jetta
Out: Tunbridge
Time to stick with a settled lineup and see what we can do. Jetta deserves a chance to prove himself ahead of the finals and Tunners is clearly not up to AFL standard.
OUT: Tunbridge, Hutchings
IN: Lamb, Duggan
Wouldn't mind Duggan getting a bit of a run-with role with one of GWS's many midfield studs.
In: Jetta
Out: Tunbridge
Depends how Duggan went in the WAFL, but happy enough with that one for one.
Nic Nat the greatest in we could possibly have.
Out - Tunners, Hutchings. - both just not good enough
In - Jetta, Duggan. - both could be good enough + will use the ball.
Just get Tunbridge out.
Tunbridge OUT Jetta IN
Lets make a statement.
In: Jetta
Out: Tunbridge
I also don't think Sheed has been AFL standard, but maybe they're giving him a chance to play himself into form?
wrong threadOuts: Tunbridge (suspended), Wellingham (injured)
In: Nelson, Jetta.
