You can't say that Switta is on the team for his pressure only when has has 9 PA and 0 tackles for the whole game. Chuck Ras up forward or bring Narkle in or something I don't even care. Show some balls MC and drop one of your leaders if they're underperforming.

We're just going to get even younger and less experienced. All our older guys are past it.

How many pressure acts would be average per player? Switta's not over his injury and we keep playing him. His pressure is no where near what it has been.

I’d love to see ball retention for kicks inside 50 from Johnson.

I think it would be very very low, potentially lowest in the comp low.

Agree his bollocking work has been good. This is where we need the overlap run, tell him to hand pass to a better user quickly.

brodie won't change anything. we didn't have any trouble winning clearances yesterday, we were +28. doesn't mean shit if your forwards butcher it in I50

it's the linking that's the problem, not winning it, besides last weekend. it's how we're getting it inside 50.

I suspect you are talking about Serong just as much as you are MJ? A couple of nice handballs from Serong but besides that he was shit again.
He has played two maybe three good games all year and been deadset ordinary every other week.

He is a long way from the Lachie Neale we thought we had at the moment.

mate, our biggest problem by far from this game was ball use. we can not carry a bloke who burns just about every ball he gets just because he gets a lot of it. needs to be dropped and work on things at peel just as erasmus has.

We've been gifted another team coming off a short break, they'll have 6 days versus 9 for us. Someone at the AFL was trying hard to help us with this fixturing these two weeks.

And there's predicted to be some rain about.

It doesn't seem like rocket science to me, replace Darcy and a soft half forward (take your pick,) with two of NOD Narkle and Brodie, and just make it an attritional ground game.

He didn't "burn just about every ball he gets". He definitely needs to improve, especially the goal kicking, but he wasn't a stand out turnover merchanct. Ryan, Serong, Clark, Chapman, Simpson, Bolton, Treacy all had the same or more turnovers.

We can't afford to lose his size. We are way too small around the ball as it is. He should be played more as an inside midfielder. Start most of the centre bounces.
