Dew is gone for 4-5 weeks. Bad Hammy, same one.

Please explain to me why Dew was having his LEFT thigh wrapped in gladwrap if it is the same hammy? Last time it was his RIGHT leg.

Do not guess, say what you know and don't make it up.

Is the hammy bad?

How do I know? My binoculars are very good!

That is all.

Anyone know where Garry Moss is at? He was pushing for selection for a fair chunk of last season, but has completely gone off the radar of late. Has Rioli taken his potential spot in the side?

For mine, I think the changes will be:

In: Crawford, Lewis,
Out: Dew, Clarke

Murphy will stay, need him to mind one of the dogs many small forwards. Kennedy showed enough to stay in for another week, but if Hodgey pulls up he is gone. I dont think Morton deserves to be in the side next week, but I dont know who would replace him.

Not much point doing this this week since we have no idea how Hodge, Crawf and Lewis are going. If they come in we're a good shot against the Dogs, if we go in with the same line-up as this week, minus Dew, we'll get beaten.

Mossy had a good game against williamstown. Don't know the stats, but he was a good play maker and seemed to be in the thick of it each time.

Dawson may have had 2 disposals for the entire game. Though I only saw one.

Dew's hamstring was minor on t.v. My guess is it's a set back, but something they might treat with caution, because he was able to re-injure himself after two weeks.

Is the hammy bad?

Dew, who is still overweight despite shedding many kilograms to get himself back into AFL condition after a brief retirement, clutched at his LEFT hamstring after delivering a trademark kick deep into attack in the final quarter.

Whoopsy!!! GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT CLOWN!!

And the "DOCTOR" on the radio said it was a "BAD" hamstring, actually "a 4-5 weeker"!

Sorry for believing a reporter/doctor.

He'll play this week!

Why race back an injured player? Nine zip with the Bummers in a fortnight. Means we can rest players and go to the halfway mark at 10-1.

Dew out. Whitecross in.

following you boys alot. kennedy lookeed the goods.

In: Crawford, moss, tuck.

Out: Dew, Morton, clarke.

^^^How Negative is that!!!

We have enough depth to be a good chance against the Doggies and you are already writing us off!

Murphy out. Never again.

I loved his shirking of a hard contest...ducking the head, closing the eyes and letting the dees kick an easy goal.

hopefully crawford, lewis and hodge will come up for the match. Does any know how hodge's progression has been? is he back doing full training yet?

In: Lewis, Crawford & Whitecross - (Whitecross to play 100 consecutive games once he is in...he is a ripper, belongs in the Seniors - boomark it.)

Out: Dew,Murphy & Clarke

Whitecross is an elite runner and will take Tims spot this week.
Dew out injured replace by Lewis.
Murphy must make way for Crawf.

Will be 4 weeks on saturday. Also with the appendix, that will be 2 weeks ago match day, and they said it wouldnt affect the time he is out which = back this week. I'd hope we'd see Hodge back this week...we really need him for this one

In: Crawf, Lewis, Hodge,

Out: Youngy, Clarkey and Dew.

Reasons:

Youngy out - needs to recapture some form. He's definitely good enough at senior level, but has had a couple of ordinary games and is getting pummelled by the opposition. Might need the Hodge and Lewis types around him????

Clarke out - only 10 touches on the weekend. COuldn't have been tagging too well either because they had 4 blokes with 25+ possessions. Too much competition for spots to stay in the side with this kind of performance. 2 first gamers did better than Timmy yesterday.

Kennedy IN - needs a few games to adjust to the speed. When he learns how frantically he has to move to break at pack at senior level he'll be awesome. Will also adjust to the pace and improve his skill.

Morton IN!!!! - Great game I thought. Marks will stick a bit better with some more game time. Ugly dude but good player.

Not sure if Boyle will fit into the structure against the doggies. Stick with buddy and roughy as the major targets and junior and willow chipping in.

Hopefully Lewis and Crawf are back and Tucky can get a game.

My outs would be Dew, Morton, Kennedy

Boyle's hip must be the most injured thing in the known universe. He was supposed to play the next week and hasn't even played for Box Hill since.

Mate i watched Box Hill on ABC, I agree with you. Whitecross is a smooth mover. I wonder if Clarko is gonna bring him in

Kanga is not a midfielder...

kicking skills rated at 3/10...Jobe Watson like. Doesnt have a tank for AFL midfield. watched him closely with Xavier and have watched him closely at the Hills.

With his body size he will become a half bank flanker just like his dad. Lock it in Eddie.

Not sure on Morton either. Cant see what all the excitement surrounding him is. Maybe i am being to harsh but just trying to call it as i see it.

Out Morton Kennedy Dew
In Hodge Lewis Crawford

Clarkey gets another crack cause the Dogs have a heap of runners.

Not sure we can take Sunday's form into this weeks game and win.

Whilst the Dees were competitive and we fumbled our way yet won, the Bulldogs were ahead for most their game against a much more competitive apponent.

As for changes, don't expect Crawf will be available maybe another week.

The forecast is for a cold, windy and sometimes wet day (thats the forecast which we all know could change) which may work in our favour at a ground where the Bulldogs have played just once, a few years ago.

Of the others who are injured that are being discussed here

Dew - No, out for a couple
Hodge - Hope so but only if he is 100%, no risk
Tuck - Magoos
Lewis - is expected to play

So probably just one change unless Hodge is OK, Lewis in.....I like Murphy but thought he was our most dissapointing player yesterday and isn't versatile and a bit slow, Kennedy and Morton did enough to get another game whilst Clarke on the big Aurora ground could get a tag job on one of their running linkup backmen.

Fingures crossed for Hodge he could be the difference between winning or losing.

Hi men.

Look I'm sorry I've seen Whitecross at 3 BH games and seen him in the back pocket on a few occassions literally 5 metres from me leaning over the fence by the jumpy castles, and I've got to say, his reaction time to the flow of the game whilst the ball is in his mits is shithouse. He appears to be a regular sprinter to get himself open for an uncontested possession from kick outs but jesus he is not busting the bladder with match winning skills????

Keep learning Whitecross and we'll see you next year as you continue to improve. am happy to lay money anywhere with anyone, that he will not play a game this year. He's still learning:thumbsu:
