Look, my problem isn't that we dropped Gallucci and Poholke specifically. Poholke definitely deserved to go, Gallucci line ball.

But when you just drop young players these selections say "the fault for the loss is on the young blokes". When realistically it actually wasn't the young blokes that were abysmal, but senior players like Mackay, Jacobs, Lynch, etc.

We are decimated by injuries. The guys that played on the weekend are the guys that you would be bringing in to teach lessons. Not sure why this is surprising.

Gooch unlucky, but Murphy also deserved a chance. I understand the optics of the two youngest players getting dropped for a team 100 point loss. But it’s not about this. We absolutely have to win this week. We are putting the best team we can pick out there. There is no chance to teach lessons to guys like Mackay this week. We are in the eye of the storm and it’s still all hands on deck.

Edit: not to teach lessons, but Sauce looks cooked. If it turns out that he is cooked and he costs us several games for these selectors to figure this out then that is incompetence. Surprised ROB didn’t give Sauce a rest. Will be pissed if he has another poor game.

We will miss Gallucci’s 7 disposals this week but I think we can cover this. Over the last 4 matches who has performed best; Gallucci? Mackay? Gibson (2 games)? Perhaps we can play Gallucci off half back and drop Kelly?

Is three players with 20 AFL games between them not good enough for you?

Since you are only happy when we lose I can see why you are disturbed that we are playing our best available team (and that may not be good enough).

Right changes in my opinion, although at some stage I think we need 3 genuine tall's back with Keath being the pacy, marking swingman. Poholke may well be a player but at this stage is not what is required as he has not done enough. Murphy at this stage deserves another go over Gooch who will no doubt be a player.

Blinder is a bit of a stretch, he had a "handy" game with several moments where he showed the eye opening talent he possesses with 2 centre clearances in particular that were Dangerfield like when he broke clear put the jets on and booted long goals, the talent is there in spades but he needs to do more.

Did he fail to pick up a ball and fall over in the defensive goal square?

Surely Hampton can do just as bad, but also add a lot more than that.
