Great that Charlie appears to be okay.
But why would you not send him in for a scan to be on the safe side.
To state the obvious he is super important to the Club and they need to protect their asset and the players welfare
On the footage alone it needs a scan to determine any damage

He had a scan. Cleared.

Well i suppose you should have read the post and listened to the video above yours before replying.
You asked why would they not send him for scans to be on the safe side. They did send him for scans, I was merely suggesting if they didn’t there is no need to worry. Maybe you should have listened to the video.....sheesh.

Been watching every North game this year and their on ballers are poorly skilled and go to water under pressure. Need to make sure they don't get easy kicks and sweat on their mistakes. Bring our intensity and we will win easily.

They will probably play Walker, if fit, forward and he won't worry us there. Tarrant is a good full back and who ever he lines up on should get on his bike and get Tarrant out of general play. They have a David Ackerly look alike, LMac, who is a bloody good small defender but I heard he may return to Melbourne as his wife is prego. If he doesn't play, a fit Charlie would kick a million.

Goldstein has had a marvellous year but has really struggled in the last two games. He's half fit and Oscar will eat him alive.

Rest Charlie and Mitch and I would like to see the big three given another crack at it against poorer teams so Eagles goes out. Lester could come in as he has experience and will be able to step up straight away

Just replayed the first half. I am f**ked what they see in CEY. Slow as a wet week. As aware as a besser block. Did not do 1 positive thing in the half, apart from get in everyone's way. I would rather bring back Tom Bell.

well I suppose the fact the club sent him for scans kinda kills your theory :thumbsu:
What are you on about Brett?

My original post was in reply to another poster quoting a "Sam Edmund" Tweet. He is Chief Sports Reporter for SEN

If you don't want to bother going back and looking below is his Tweet

So maybe jonnobackpocket and yourself need to read a few previous posts before jumping on me

"Brisbane Lions very confident Charlie Cameron will be fine with that hyper-extended knee, to the point he might not even be scanned today. No plans to rest the match-winning forward either - should he be fit - despite facing lowly North Melbourne on Saturday."

I haven't watched the replay and I agree that he has been ordinary the last 2 games and I would have him in the outs for the Kangaroos, but Tom Bell?? What about Ryan Harwood or Jarrad Jansen?

Lester coming in to defence adds a bit of mongrel too because he has a very high football IQ, is fearless, super hard at the ball and his 1% acts are great.

It’s think Jamie McMillan returning to Melb not Luke McDonald.

Jumped on.....Jesus. You wrote that the club should get scans on his knee if their is any chance of structural damage. Oh really...no s&$t like it would ever be a consideration not to get them done.

Or a beefed up Sam Sheldon.

Once again you didn't bother reading any previous posts to get any context on what people were talking about.
Last reply from me you obviously can't bother to look.
Most people read a book from the front not start near the end.

Wouldn't be risking him vs Norf
I’d play Christensen, giving Charlie a chance to recover. We have to be thinking about the finals and winning some of the big games that await us between now and then. I’d like to see Cameron at 100% when we play St.Kilda.

Would you give Charlie a week to get over things, and give someone else a chance? Coleman or Bundy?

If he is assessed as right to go then he is right to go. The knee might have come up well.

At least Jansen would play back to goals at each stoppage ........... amiright?

I’ve never thought of the term mongrel, when discussing Lester.

High footy IQ definitely. Plays within himself. Puts his body on the line. Does all the small and selfless things, i.e 1%’ers. Is very accountable.
