Not sure how Banfield keeps his place over Dudley, Dudley played his way in over a number of weeks while Banfield played his way out. But apparently Banners 13 touches, 0.0 and 0 tackles in the wet was enough to hold out Duds during his non footy related week out. Hmmm

Banfield is playing half back. Allowing Wagner to stay in the middle and he has been hard both in the contest and running. Dudley won't come in for Banfield.

Banners has better disposal than Walker. I hope Coops is locked in and we gio with either Worner or Walker. I suppose Worner could play Banfields role well enough. Walker is very good at shutting down pacey forwards.

The obsession with gifting Erasmus games is so frustrating to me. I would have thought freo fans had gone past being desperate for midfielders who can't kick just because they do well at WAFL level. I hope Erasmus makes it too but JOM was one of our best performers to start the season and this board is acting like they would be heart broken for JOM to be selected over Ras. Blows my mind.

Erasmus is a good kick....and off both feet. It's his decision making that lets him down (although admittedly it is getting better).
I could name about 7 or 8 best 22 players that do not kick as well as Erasmus.

He has really improved. Credit to him.

Worner hasn't come out, he was just subbed and is fine. Simpson's spot is the one that Banfield was covering for to allow Wagner to help the midfield.
Walker will play when fit.

Ras i50 kicks have been very good. He has been averaging a good number of goal assists as a result of hitting up players i50. His decision making from half back and his goal kicking have been areas that need development. His connection and decision making from half forward has been very good at both Peel and Freo. Credit where credit is due. Naming players is unnecessary but there are many that do not lower the eyes and love the bomb it long approach. Head back to a replay of the Game vs Collingwood and there you will get your answer. So many i50’s to choose from.

I think we are a forward light.

We really only have 6, including Bolton who plays a lot of midfield time.

Will be interesting to see how they make it work.

My bad, I missed Bolton was named in the middle.

I just saw no forward named on the bench. OK, not too bad but Bolton will need to spend more time forward.

Sales have been slow because it was forecast to rain until that changed yesterday. I'll be surprised if this hits 30k looking at the seating chart

Buy a $35 ticket in the nosebleeds and come down to the empty seats at quarter time.

It’s still hard to compare, for example an inside mid is kicking under extreme pressure far more than a backline player. I like the eye test for Ras he is clearly developed his kicking to the required level.
