He did a couple of OK things, but you’re over-rating his game a bit.
10 disposals & 2 tackles for the entire game.
He’s only young but is borderline AFL standard.
Bit of a whipping boy on our board. I hope he comes good though.
When I saw him have the ball he was clean and disposal was good. Him and Hugo were there better players of the night despite the low disposals 10 disposals 9 were contested and went by 90% accuracy. He stood up in the last qtr and was more composed than some others when winning the ball.

Feel like Tex is a big out for them, no matter how old he is. Always seems to tear us up with his kicking.

Thilthorpe is a big in though, Tex averages 2.20 goals against us (ranked 8th), while Thilthorpe averages 3.33 against us (ranked 1st), Thilthorpe has never kicked a behind against us either, the team he's never kicked a behind against.

Thilthorpe is off the boil this year due to injury, not something he would have gotten over the past few weeks either. More than happy for Rankine to be rushed back in with his history of soft tissue injuries.

Why would you tempt the football gods this way!!?? Just why…….😔

I feel like Buss is a good footballer but lacks pace to consistently perform at AFL level. Quite often you’d see him got caught on the lead cause as soon as he loses contact, he’s cooked. I think this limits him as its hard to put him on many of the premium forwards or the generally quicker 3rd talls.
He's quicker than Sam Collins and probably on par with Weitering.

We won a flag with Fletch at FB.

He needs continuity and to build strength. That's going to take time.

I haven't watched any VFL since early in the season, but he looked a fair way off back then.

So his improvement must have been pretty rapid in recent times.

I like that we tend to throw young guys in the deep end as soon as they are deemed ready.

It would make sense for LKennedy to spend most of his time on a wing. McNeil was playing there last week before he got injured.
It would, but he's hardly played there at VFL level. A few of us have been hoping he gets time at VFL level in a role he'll play at AFL level.

He can lay a tackle, his footskills at VFL level are excellent, and he has a good tank. Not blessed with pace, but he plays a way that should hold up ok at AFL level. I like the kid.

I'm unfamiliar with where Kennedy has been playing in the VFL. Is this essentially a McNeil role that he'll be playing? Treloar should absolutely rested with another veteran coming in.

In: Libba, Kennedy
Out: Treloar, McNeil

It will be interesting to see where Libba plays. I'd hate for Sanders to have significantly reduced midfield minutes to Kennedy might be one to cop that. As good as Libba is, he's largely ineffective unless he's appearing as an inside midfielder.

The Crows centre bounce make up is real hard to predict week to week. Feels like they have settled on Berry/Peatling/Dawson as the preferred in recent weeks, I don't expect Rankine to get many rotations coming back in from his latest calf injury.

Also Crows first game at Marvel all year which seems weird.
