Prediction Changes Round 14 vs Dees

Ralph doesn't understand the rule. Shocking.

It's not about the ball being within five metres, it's about intent. He's allowed to bump him, he's allowed to try and hurt him, he's allowed to try and take him out of the play. But he wasn't intending to take him high. The bump was intentional, the high contact was careless.

To be fair to Ralph he doesn't try to portray himself as someone who understands anything...that furrowed brow that attempts to say "I really understand this and this is a big issue that requires a lot of deep thought and concentration" but falls well short of the mark.

The AFL media is what the NBA would be like if every media personality was Charles Barkley.

If he's trying to portray himself as a boneheaded muppet then he's doing an outstanding job.

He must have some skill though. It must be difficult to convince someone to pay you when you're so incompetent at your chosen profession

No concerns replacing a small with a tall?
Melbourne have been a bit light on for talls so I don't think it'll be an issue. Gawn is quite mobile for his size too

Probably the one change only then, I guess with Neilson going out. JJK pending could see us with another change.

If we are serious about us bringing that effort each and every week - you do have to reward the guys that bring the effort. So would be hesitant to make too many changes unless absolutely necessary. JK coming back is an obvious exception.

Knowing Shuey got off, I would be going

In: Karpany, Kennedy (if fit)
Out: Nelson, Schofield (unlucky)

Duggan to go through the HB rotations as he did last week. I think Karpany could be useful off a wing also.
Thinking it should be Petrie out for JK. Leave McGovern as third tall forward back up ruck.

If drop schofield then McGovern has to play back and Petrie has to ruck. Which he is bad at

Our changes will probably be
In: Gawn
Out: Jones

Tipping Watts to get up. Jonesy looks like hes out

I thought it was more likely Watts out, Jonesy ok. That's what Dom said on SEN today.

Ralph was just on SEN, his tears regarding shuey were fantastic.
Yeo pushes Dangerfield slightly before Shuey bumps him. A slight push can move a player many inches away from their ideal spot, we see that in marking contests. Yeos push moves Dangerfield into a different position and Shuey was going for a bump which is quite legal . I would love someone to ask Jon Ralph what effect in his expert opinion the Yeo push had. Or doesnt he want to look at that camera angle

Yeah I don't know how he got that gig. But just the look on his face at those half time crosses to him while he talks is beyond stupid. I have never seen a head look so unable to grasp simple concepts while trying to look deep in thought and constructive its a juxtaposition that few can pull off.

I'd drop Petrie for Kennedy ..he hasn't done anything wrong but dees strength is run and carry

Bring in Wellingham for Nelson ...like for like

Lycett could play as a forward too

Kennedy not ready imo.

IN: Wellingham, Karpany
OUT: Nelson (inj), LeCras (shit)

Hurn Barrass Sheppard
Cole Schofield Yeo
Gaff Mitchell Jetta
Sheed McGovern Darling
Cripps Petrie Karpany

Vardy Shuey Priddis

Wellingham Mackenzie Hutchings Duggan

Ideally I'd want a tall back out and bring in a mid but no one really put their hand up for East Perth.

jk wanted to play last week ...he will play

Our season is on the line this week ...this game is crucial for any top chance we have

He plays in my view ....he gets the best defender ....this makes darlings job easier and other forwards

Wellers plays ....in for Nelson ...like for like ....tom cole stays ......you could easily drop lecras for Kennedy ...structually we are ok without lecca ....but I do think we need a hill or a lecras in form

Does anyone know how Rioli is going ....sorry I do t follow wafl at all .....I have life and full time job lol

Simmo on 6PR last night all but conformed Lycett will play more WAFL. And sounds like Kennedy is a long shot.

I'd expect Wellingham for Nelson as the only change.

Surely we wont go in as tall this time. Melbourne are a lot quicker side down front then Geelong.

JK will play. Let him train behind closed doors, act as though he is a slim 50/50 doubtful slight chance of maybe getting up.
Name as emergency, then BANG late change Kennedy in.

Out: Nelson, Lecras
In: Wellingham, Magikarp

B: Hurn Schofield Shep
HB: Yeo Barrass McGovern
C: Gaff Priddis Duggan
HF: Jetta Darling Hutchings
F: Cripps Petrie Wellers
R: Vardy Sheed Shuey

I: Emac, Cole, Karpany, Mitchell

Get Kennedy cherry ripe.

EDIT:
and don't drop Gov you stupid flog
