I was looking at this fixture and realised I really don't want to go to the game. The team is at such a low ebb, that I can't see any positives out of watching. It would be different if we had a bunch of highly rated young players in their to develop, but given most of them are out injured, it's just a bit sad.

Play the kids if they’re at least in a position to be able to compete. E.g Hough, Culley in a couple of weeks, Luke Edwards last year.
Don’t play skinny undeveloped kids who need a year or two of development just for the sake of playing the kids. At worst, you’ll break them. At best you’re setting them up to fail. Stick a skinny 18 year old KPF in the side against a strong team in what’s a certain loss and it doesn’t matter what he does for the rest of his career, some posters will still say “I saw him play at the SCG and he was terrible, he’s not an AFL footballer”.
Not mentioning any names.

Since Simmo has been at the Eagles we have given AFL debuts to significantly (20%) less players than the AFL average. Even the BODE's gave debuts to more players (36). So, yes, Simmo shoud play the kids more than he has.
Our 2018 year shows you can play some kids and still be competitive.
However, only a small portion of AFL players debut in the year they were drafted unless they are mature age. So no, Simmo shouldn't play developing KPPs that aren't yet physically developed enough to compete at AFL level.

Guessing we’ve probably made up that 9.2players shortfall this season.
We've debuted a world record number this year & it hasn't worked so.......
I think the concensus is he need to fill out. I havent seen enough of him to comment but if he is relying on his tank he probably needs to learn his craft in the WAFL. A game or two later to give him motivation for the pre season would he a good idea. As an aside if he has growen so much as reporte since the draft he may be finding his feet so to speak.
