I’m a fan of cleary but he’s been holding onto the ball too long in the afl and trying to do too much outside of he’s skill set. Needs to keep it simple due for a run in the 2s

He did look slow last year. Looked like a guy that didn't have much trust in his body or his abilities, which is probably what two and a half years out of the game does to you. Hopeful he does well and looks the part, because it looks like we are settled on the two tall defenders so going to need some medium types who can intercept, which is what Coffield five years ago, pre-injuries was bringing to the table

Match committee clearly doesn't like playing 3 talls, especially 3 monsters like Buss, Lobb and JOD together and prefers having more run and flexibility. Have shown they prefer the two and then a couple mid sized interceptors who can play on 3rd talls like Cleary, Bailey Williams and Coffield. So Buss isn't competing with Coffield / Cleary, he's competing with JOD and Lobb.

Cleary tries, but anyone who has actually watched the last couple games will not be surprised by his omission.

Has had some horrendous turn overs, top sides will kill you if you keep that going.
