My guess is it’s Sharp. Freddie or Wags can cover the wing.

Aish for Darcy
Sharp for Dudley
Draper for McDonald

Fyfe back to sub.
Called it so far, just need Fyfe back to sub now.

Somehow I think that is a bridge too far for Jlo to demote Fyfe but he seems to be doing the right thing for the team a lot.

There’s still something there with Sharp but he really needs to clean up his disposal. Need a runner like him in the team if he gets his shit together.

Like seeing OMac in for Draper
I think that was the final straw with Sharp. Not getting a touch is fine if you're doing a job but becoming a liability with ball in hand isn't tolerated unless you play in a few select positions. The stars also need to align with lack of options and Freo is fast becoming a team that doesn't have to play players with huge flaws. I'm sure he'll get his confidence back and get back in.

We’re lucky that Brad Hill is out. Always appears to be a major contributor in their winning games.
Probably makes the decision to drop Sharp easier.
Hope we are in a position to sub for Banfield last quarter. At the very least keep him in the forward 50.

Good changes, I like Draper and Sharp but neither have been playing all that well and they needed a kick up the ass to go and improve. I'm guessing Duds will be sub.

Unless Wagner is going to spend time in the backline or all our defenders are playing 100% TOG, Banners is playing in the backline. You have to play 7 defenders.

I like the changes. Omac deserves the recall, and Dudley was playing well before missing the last few weeks.
So much for Sharp and playing a role.....which everyone banged on about each week.

happy for omac absolutely deserves it over Draper whose barely a wafl player.
Think it is time for a break with sharp he just hasn’t been good this year hopefully can find some form.
Just please make Fyfe sub so he doesn’t look so lost out there.
Hope Darcy has a good game but feel like he’s gonna cop shit no matter what the new whipping boy

If he does actually get dropped can’t wait to hear the mental gymnastics from all those who continually defended his performances via stating his utter importance to our game plan as the reason he hadn’t.
But he can run all day? Trouble is you need to actually get hold of the footy

We always win if Sharp gets under 10 touches in 2025. Jlo obviously wants to win this game and isn't risking a loss.

Actually when your playing fat side, you actually don’t want that much of the ball, you want your team to attack direct through the corridor.

Sharps problem is that when he does get a rare bit of the ball, he sends it to the moon or OOTF. He’s problem is with quality not quantity IMO

Where's our acceleration going to come from?

Like the changes to a degree but we're very tall, I don't see our record as the slowest team in the comp being displaced any time soon.

Hopefully the strength and height will muscle through Saints congestion better than speed can.

I've said for a while that the running man numbers Sharp puts up is not actually something to use as a beacon that highlights his importance. It simply means other teams share the load, and we can also do the same thing with the right players. NOD comes into the side, and last week was the first I can remember that Sharp dropped off the tracker leaderboard.

Our leaders were Draper, Ryan, Clark. And all well below what Sharp had been running.

That slow metric is purely how long we take to dispose of the ball once we get it. It has nothing to do with leg speed. We would be one of the fastest sides in the competition, especially if Switta and Walker were playing. And even without them, we have our share of quick players over the ground.

Wagner, Clark, Freddy, Bolton are all elite for speed. Chapman can move. And the likes of O'Driscoll, Treacy, Worner, Johnson have appeared on the tracker (which only shows the top 5) for top speed in our games over the last few weeks.

We have a handful of slow players, but so does every side.

Is it something about our wingers, or past wingers.
Carltonhave Blake Acres from us. His kicks are measured more by the height he kicks the ball , and the number of out on the fullkicks.
Ed Langdon,, another departee from Fremantle.Same as Acres, a terrible kick. I think he is the payer who kicks the ball out on the full more times than any other in the competion.
Sharps kicking down the line leaves a lot to be desired as he kicks the ball OOTF plenty of times.
