JOM, Ras, Voss, Banfield, Dudley will be the five you would think. So Pearce and JOM in for OMac and Fyfe. Just a question as to who's the sub

I don't know why, but they always do this for Sunday fixtures. Each club has to list their extended bench and the omissions are announced the following day. It's an AFL quirk but they've done it for a while now8 on the extended bench? That’s not usual is it?
Yeah I get all that. I just had it in my head that they only named a 7-man interchange. Don’t know whyI don't know why, but they always do this for Sunday fixtures. Pearce back on that surface![]()
. What are they thinking? He might be ready to resume in normal conditions but a dodgy deck and we all know his history of leg injuries & breaks. Why risk it, don't they remember how we fell off a cliff after he & Treacy got injured last year?!The need to win this game exceeds the injury risk our players face. Can't not play him because he might get injured. That makes me so mad. What are they thinking? I get this perspective, but at the same time we've gone okay filling his spot thus far and the Swans don't really have any tall fwds of note. IDK, maybe Freo peeps have seen the surface and don't think it's as much of a death trap as everyone says but it still scares the bejeezus out of me.The need to win this game exceeds the injury risk our players face. There was a similar concerns when we played the suns, if you go back through the ins and outs for that gameThat makes me so mad. What are they thinking? I understand why people are reluctant. We had an injury crisis late last season and now we're fearful of it happening again. But we can't let fear guide our decisions. Pearce is our captain and we need him out there.I get this perspective, but at the same time we've gone okay filling his spot thus far and the Swans don't really have any tall fwds of note. You count fine, you just use that Imperial system instead of proper metric measurements...Oh yeah, makes sense. Must just be that I haven’t been able to count all these years![]()

Not training with main defender group apparentlyNo Walker wth?
He will be sub I think.JOM in off one game.
No thanks.
Someone posted earlier that we go from something like a 60% chance to a 30% chance of making finals if we drop this oneThat makes me so mad. What are they thinking? Back Pearce. But JOM ? Concern is Dudley is underdone slightly and Darcy still on limited TOG%.Someone posted earlier that we go from something like a 60% chance to a 30% chance of making finals if we drop this one
I kind of agree
I’d play everyone who’s fit , we’re not done if we lose a player but we might be if we lose this game
Long as Pearce is fit of course I’d roll the dice on the surface
Are wet slow games really that much more dangerous than dry fast games anyway , speed of the collisions seems the most dangerous aspect of footy these days too me and there would have to be some plus and minus risk factor to the soft ground
Smaller ground good for Darcy as that means less running? Allows him to have more TOG?Back Pearce. But JOM ? Concern is Dudley is underdone slightly and Darcy still on limited TOG%.
Would have loved Narkle, Aish or Walker in as they have proved their fitness
And he didn’t even play last week due to injury hahaJOM in off one game.
No thanks.

He is, but coaches don’t want to play him.Smaller ground good for Darcy as that means less running? Allows him to have more TOG?
Shame Walker isn’t ready
