The problem with this sort of analysis is it assumed causation, when it is just correlation.

It could mean JOM is detrimental to us winning, but it could also mean a bunch of other stuff happened that has no relation to JOM.

I don't particularly rate JOM personally, but I doubt him in or out compared to someone like Erasmus really moves the dial a lot.

JOM is a better player than Ras.

Ras is good as an inside mid that can also take a defensive role. JOM is an experienced mid who can swing forward. I am concerned that we lose pace with JOM but his disposal skills are better for sure.

Cmon mate, Narkle’s best ever games at afl level might be about the level of an average game from Banfield the last 2-3 years. It’s not even close.

I can’t believe I’m reading suggestions for Narkle and Nicholls to be incl. I swear some people don’t watch Peel.

Narkle is depth and has been ok at Peel without providing any point of difference up forward to what we have currently. He has just come back from knee injury and since doing so is not showing the same form.

Nicholls is very raw and had very disrupted pre-season. Very slight build and will not replace Amiss. I suggested Amiss go back to Peel for confidence boost and work on his leading patterns and marking with arms out in front. The replacement would not be Nicholls.

Watching WAFL - Draper, Aish and Walker are next in line. Walker needs a few more weeks to gain confidence. Aish is depth but all three have played this year. Sharp and OMac were the other emergencies for the game. Sharp needs to tidy up a few things at Peel but also in the back-up mix.

The others at Peel no where near it.

Sydney have named enough talls with McCartin, Melican, Hamling that it frees up Blakey to play an attacking role out of the backline which is always dangerous.

Unfortunately, the entire board will act this way, either one or the other in 18 hours time. The few sane people who don’t think like this will stay away while the others crack open the skulls of the weak and feast on their goo.

Don’t think anyone is particularly “sooking”. Personally I just don’t want to see him line up at a centre bounce with Brae and Serong, the 3 of them as a combination just doesn’t work.
If he’s not sub, I hope he’s used more as the skinny side winger and the inside mid minutes go to NOD and Jackson (assume Ras and Johnson are already getting some as well)

That’s my best guess on what will happen.
JOM to wing to help improve inside 50 delivery. More time for Johnson and O’Driscol inside.
Duds to sub.

Be interesting to see what happens when Young and Switkowski become available.

Massive test. I feel like if we are up for it we win, if we phone it in as we sometimes do we lose.

We have a massive weakness in that if you stop Caleb and Andy, you stop Freo.

Jordon will go to one of them, we need some of our other mids to stand up today, get 25+ and use it well.

Looking to see us respond to the clearance hiding e copped for 3 quarters last week, it will be the key for both sides I think.
