- Embley will play WAFL this weekend
- Hill will play this week along with Shuey
- JK will either join main training group this week or the next
- WCE are happy with Dicks Progress

Looks like the injuries have eased up a bit now!

If JK can spend the next 5 weeks training the house down Masten style im sure he will be fit enough to to play finals.

All dicking around aside, Woosh said in his presser that Josh Hill will return this week but Embley will get a week in the WAFL before returning and JK is likely to return to training with the main group this week or next.

Exciting times ahead, over the next month or so we will see the return of Shuey, Hill, Embley, JK and possibly Dick.

Darling won't know himself if he's got defenders having to worry about JK, Hill, Dick and a resting ruckman instead of copping all the focus and the best opposition defender each week.

Thats going to boost our team a lot! Darling is going to be awesome for it and what a gun to take up the Key Forward role as a 2nd year player and kick 32 goals so far! With Embers and Shuey back out midfield will look a lot better.

I'm surprised at Embley playing at WAFL level as he's been able to maintain fitness. I guess given we're playing the Lions at home, it's probably not regarded as one of the 'tougher' of our remaining fixtures so the logic would be that we could afford to have him in the seconds for a week to clear ring rust.

Hope he does well and is right to play for the Derby as a sub. This sub rule could see embers playing for another season or 2, perfect sort of player for it too.

Well, if you look at it this way, this season is one where his body hasn't had to withstand AFL level punishment. Could well freshen him up and extend his career anyway.

Potentially two more good weeks from Dick could have him as a sub candidate the following round against the Cats.

Is it likely that JK will be ready to play against the pies? It's 4.5 weeks away. Not sure of his expected timetable for WAFL return etc.

Yeah I'd like to see him given a go. Hasn't shown anything for us but played well enough for Brisbane for us to get him so they must see something in him.
