Woosha said this in today press conference
- Embley will play WAFL this weekend
- Hill will play this week along with Shuey
- JK will either join main training group this week or the next
- WCE are happy with Dicks Progress

Looks like the injuries have eased up a bit now!

If JK can spend the next 5 weeks training the house down Masten style im sure he will be fit enough to to play finals.

omg omg omg omg omg

Actually all of that news is bloody awesome!

A half cocked and premature Dick will not go down well. Ok that'll do me too. Give him a couple more weeks in the WAFL.
Shuey and Hill back this week is massive. Koby to Sub.
Outs; Newman Mcginnity and I'm undecided on who else.

Well I reckon they should play Dick in the back line with Mitch Brown in as well.

Our back line would be good...

Hurns kicking was unbelievable. Bang on every time.

I'm glad you mentioned Hurn who got the ball a paltry 13 times last week and made 6 abysmal clangers. In the past month our total lack of drive off halfback has absolutely killed us and Hurn's poor form is a huge part of that (along with Butler IMO). Those blokes are lollygagging around back there with zero intensity and in the meantime the footy is trapped between our goal line and the centre square for 60-70% of the game. He needs to start impacting games again because he's a key playmaker, and when he does get it he has to stop piss-farting around with it and drive it long to advantage*

*And no I'm not a "kick it long" idiot you hear at the footy. Hurn happens to have a weapon which is the ability to drive the footy long and low and accurately. It does my head in to see him chipping it backwards and sideways instead of from half back to half forward.

Not always half of it is mindset. A memorable moment last week was early in the final quarter Schofield (this time!) has a kick in. Our huddle breaks from the middle and inexplicably the whole centre of the field opens up. One of our players senses the space behind and steels a break on his opponent, leading backwards into void. Perfect time for a 50 meter roost to the bloke in space and with momentum heading straight down the middle. Hell we were 5 -6 goals down why not? Instead he dinks it 15 meters to someone else who dinks it back et al until the inevitable turnover and game sealing goal.

Maybe it is a problem with the players downfield. If, when Hurn gets the ball at half back, the players downfield aren't making good positions so that he can kick to them with surety, he is likely to have to take another "safer" option, which means kicking backwards and sideways .

But when that happens the ball inevitably ends up with one of Waters, Emac, McGinnity, Butler and they turn it over in the back half. Would much prefer a long 60m kick to a 50/50 a half forward.

Lynch, Darling, Cox and Naitanui? More than most teams

How many of them leave the forward 50 to lead?

Darling forced to stay in. Cox and Naitanui resting up forward.

My thoughts exactly, nic nat is no good on the lead and we need kennedy back to either play CFH and lead up or let lynch roam a bit more and leave JK deep, with darling floating around deep but also leading up at times.

no you're not, but you are that idiot that has absolutely no clue about our game plan, modern theories of moving the ball out of defence, or just modern football in general.
