The lions have a lot of weapons that can turn the game quickly. Rayner is the one that worries me the most up forward, I think Truck gets the job. Zorko is the one who sets them up from defence with his kicking, VDM plays him as a defensive forward. I do not think we can dominate their midfield it is too good, break even or slight advantage would be good.
Sam or Astro need to kick 5 or more for us to win. Probably Astro as Sam will get Andrews,

Much better physicality in the team this week and probably a week late. We looked more fluent earlier in the season with Davidson and Truck on the wings Hope we return to that combination as Sanders doesn't cover the ground as effectively when he plays there. As Optimistic Dog suggested ,Rayner is the big worry. Blokes a beast!

Not driving back to Sunny Coast after it….that has knobs on it
The elephant in the room which was not addressed is having 3 unaccountable running backs in Dale, JJ and Bramble. These 3 were exposed more than anyone last week. I personal think you can only play 2 and then have Libba or any the untried Selwood come in. Brisbane smalls are dynamic, and it will be the difference. I actually like Libba to half back as we need a leader back there.

Getting stuck in Brisbane is rough ... but with only 1 road north & south, filled with Qld drivers ... leaving at any time by road is rougher.

Was pissing down at Coolum earlier….cleared now. Reckon it will be dry by game time, maybe not as slippery due to the dew like can occur up here this time of year

Oh I know that, I’ve been up and down the Bruce Almighty many times….i don’t think anyone works in QLD after lunch on Fridays and 2pm any other day

Tradie peak hour, start early due to the heat and get home early.
When tradie peak hour finishes, normal peak hour starts, the bruce carpark.
The government has let too many people in without addressing the infrastructure.
Not related to the game, but the Bruce H/Way between the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane is a disgrace. As Grass mentioned, many travelling from Caloundra to Brisbane (80km) need 2 hours each way if they travel after 6am or 2pm. Good old Joe Bjelke-Peterson was in on ‘the laugh’ but forgot to do f**k all about the major roads north and south of Brisbane in the 80’s.
Labor state govts and the Coalition Feds have decided to not get along in a constructive way since.
Even though, being a Victorian until early adulthood, I would recommend Queensland to everyone. Vitamin D works a treat for the brain.
