Just for the next time we vs Adelaide, how in the world we meant to combat Curtin. He’s going to be so much better the next time we take them on. IMO there’s only one player on our list built for it (actually naughton probably capable but I’d rather not try) and that is Croft. We need to do what Adelaide did with Curtin and play him as a winger or at least a half back. There is no reason for him to develop as a key forward when there is no spot for him there.

Davidson will be better as well. He is going to be a really good winger with experience.

Apart from Jacques it only contains ingredients we have tried before but found they are not up to it. I get that Hynes and Dolan need time to see if they can make the grade. But yes, he should have been suspended as should Newcombe. Neither should have played against us and both were in their best players; shock horror.

Yet a good tackle like that of Paul Curtis got 3 weeks because of an unfortunate concussion

Looking at it in slow motion he should not get off. Elected to bump was high and medium impact. They will argue low impact but clearly Haynes felt the hit to the cheekbone. Having said that he was not concussed or as far I know no broken cheekbone so he probably gets downgraded to a fine.

I'm happy to give Buss a go, however I'd currently place him behind Jones in the queue due to Jones' track record and elite contested marking ability. If Jones isn't available for some reason, then I'd be happy to play Buss.

Has to be all in now, no more cheeky games into Hynes, Dolan can really only be an option for sub at this stage of his career, and Coffield is very obviously finished. Was evident after he looked bad in a 50 point win, more so after Saturday.

We might have been a bit harsh on viewing Buku only as Darcy's understudy. Jones an option. Harmes should be in the side.

Just need to roll with the sensible choices now.

One of the non-negotiables this week is tackling pressure. So, we need to compliment this was changes that will improve this area. Harmes and Scott for Hynes and Dolan.
