Sharp can keep running right out the doorI feel like an extra runner at the G will be important.
Sharp for Banfield (Wags to Half back)
Young for Duds (young sub)
Pearce (if fit) for Omac
And he was two levels above.He played for Peel earlier this season.
Some of these comments lol. No chance JOM OR Johnson are even close to being dropped.
The most vulnerable by a long way are Dudley, McDonald, and Banfield.
JL said Pearce was not injured, the spike in running last week and six day break contributed to him missing. Apparently a good chance to return.
Therefore, I'd like to see Pearce and Young in and McDonald and Banfield out. Walker is a maybe.
We're close to our best possible team, albeit Young and Pearce will not be at their best obviously.

Yeah and JL made the point that the forward line was much more organised as a collective because of Switta being there. Having your generals out on the ground makes a huge difference.Pearce spends a lot of time organizing the defense and sometimes not sticking to his primary role, which is to shut down the opposition key forward. If he comes back, I’d have a chat to him about playing shut down first before the role of intercepter.
Macdonald didn’t do anything fancy, but was effective spoiling the contest over and over again.

Johnson cult refuses to ever acknowledge his poor performances. He can not do a single thing wrong in their eyes.Sharp and Erasmus were dropped for performances that weren't as bad as Johnson last night.
I don't expect him to be dropped but it's a possibility and warranted.
McDonald is that quiet, effective, no nonsense, High IQ player. He was just everywhere covering his man. Did his role. Didn’t have to do anything fancy at all.Pearce spends a lot of time organizing the defense and sometimes not sticking to his primary role, which is to shut down the opposition key forward. Actually makes a lot of sense. Walker is needed now and for the rest of the season. Gave up 4 crumbing goals v the small fleet of Hawhtorn.Our backilne was too big and slow against Hawthorn until Wagner was moved back and Collingwood's forward line is super mobile. I hope they keep Banfield out of the backline and I like OMac but he's nowhere near as quick as Pearce.
If Bobby Hill is back in (after missing for personal reasons) I think we might need to shuffle some magnets.
Mihocek -> OMac or Pearce
Mcstay -> Cox
Membrey -> Ryan
Schultz -> Clark
Hoskin Elliot -> Chappy
Hill & Elliot -> 2 of Worner / Walker / Wagner
If they play the above forward line, we'll need real speed. Personally, I think Walker is crucial. Banfield on Elliot or Hill is a nightmare. Wagner starts in the midfield and if we need more speed back there, sub off OMac and shuffle Wags back. Sub Banfield on to the wing.
IN: Walker, and hopefully Pearce for OMac
Sub: Banfield or Young
Out: Duds![]()
Alternatively the hate cult refuses to acknowledge his good performances. If you guys can't recognise any positives in what he brought last night being 2nd in tackles and clearances then maybe, just maybe the bias goes both ways...Johnson cult refuses to ever acknowledge his poor performances. He can not do a single thing wrong in their eyes.
Play the extra forward and hunt them.
Out: Banfield
In: Young to sub, Dudley starts or vice versa.
Pearce??
Maybe, except for the bleeding obvious that we has trash?Alternatively the hate cult refuses to acknowledge his good performances. If you guys can't recognise any positives in what he brought last night being 2nd in tackles and clearances then maybe, just maybe the bias goes both ways...
Man I hope he gets coaches votes againMaybe, except for the bleeding obvious that we has trash?
But hey, maybe if we gift him another 50 games he'll hit a target and won't get caught holding the ball in such moronic ways?
You fail to acknowledge any good that he does, just hating. Is Johnson a star of the team? No, certainly not, he's around 15 to 20 in the team. He makes some howler and does not go into the contest hard enough.Johnson cult refuses to ever acknowledge his poor performances. He can not do a single thing wrong in their eyes.
He's injured atm.Frampton. He always solid.
He had less clangers than brayshaw and serong and less frees against than brayshaw. Maybe we should drop all 3 of them?Maybe, except for the bleeding obvious that we has trash?

Walker should come in for Banfield.
I wouldn't bring Young back yet, give him a week at Peel.
Walker at the MCG against the Pies in a crucial game lining up on Ellliot i’m guessing, what could go wrong.
