150.How much do we need to win by to increase our percentage by 10%?
So doableCurrent F/A is 1510/1387 = 108.86%
If WC score 50 points Fremantle need to score 194 points.
1704/1437 = 118.58%
Not this year. There are about seven clubs vying for spots within a game or two of each other and we’ve got the worst percentage of them all. If the favourites win this weekend, we’ll be seventh but equal fourth. Percentage might also determine whether we have a home final or not. We need to try and win big these next three games. We rarely bury teams and I'm not expecting it to happen tomorrow.
Our season will be decided by wins and losses, not percentage.
That's what they will be saying internally I think. We cannot focus on percentage.Regarding our percentage predicament and the close state of the top-eight
We've obviously been humming with rotations, player management so on.
Those things considered, do we risk possibly upsetting our gameplan and player management by going all in and overclocking our team to really go all-in on some very important percentage building or keep on humming, playing conservatively and doing what we do to bank the four points?
Keep in mind, that percentage could be the difference between, dare I say a top-four spot or a home or away elimination final?
It's going to happen naturally anyway. Our percentage the last month or two is about 137%. Just keep on playing the way we are and hopefully we'll get to about 120%, which might determine if we play a home final or notThat's what they will be saying internally I think. We cannot focus on percentage.
Forget ladder position, just focus on winning and keeping them healthy and ready for the next week.
It's such a fine balance for a WA team. We don't have the luxury to put in a max effort to win by 100 points. That could end up costing us a win down the track.
Like they said mid year, I think we're seeing the effect of the extra home game now. Instead of fading, we're running over the top of sides.
I think they're also doing a great job of managing player loading in game.
You crazy mixed up kid!A part of me has ptsd that freo of old lose this
Another part of me is scared the eagles are just gonna be dirty dogs and try injure players
And a small part of me is confident this can be close to 100 points
Just tag both Andy and Caleb and you're halfway to winning. If I’m the Eagles I’m copying the Saints game plan. Everyones a tagger when they’ve got the ball or it’s in dispute particularly around stoppage & then attack when we get possession. I’m thinking it will be some brand of 1v1 footy.
The other thing is they have changed game style recently & are trying to play a more conservative brand of patience instead of fast movement. Cover the 45 off half back & we should be able to turn them over earlier & get them on the fast break which we have been doing well this season.
Anyway I’d takes 90-50 win with no injuries, anything greater is a bonus.
Tagging only works if you have depth in your midfield or the tagger still gets a bit of it. I don’t think they have either. But I do think they will tag Serong with Hough & try to get a match up of Reid on Brayshaw.Just tag both Andy and Caleb and you're halfway to winning.
The Saints' depth is fingernail deep but that didn't stop them from flogging us the first time around, although probably exacerbated by underestimating them. We underestimated them less the second time but they were still competitive. Might be enough for the dirty birds to prevent a blowout.Tagging only works if you have depth in your midfield or the tagger still gets a bit of it. I don’t think they have either. Yes no argument here, but Ross didn’t have to adjust their game style too much as that’s how he coaches. The Saints' depth is fingernail deep but that didn't stop them from flogging us the first time around, although probably exacerbated by underestimating them.
