The eagles have an ageing and beaten down squad. They saw this coming after no top 10 picks between 2014 and 2021. Not to mention that they made finals for 6 straight seasons.

Cooper is a gun but he needs a couple of weeks at Peel. Fyfe the same - I wouldn’t write him off either.

Those ready to go are Erasmus, Dudley, Walker and Sharp.

Dudley was immense for Peel. Erasmus played two very good quarters and had a tag impacting him - as well as him being missed by poor team mate skills at times.

Walker obviously close as he travelled with the team.

I lean towards Walker and shuffle the deck. I’d like to get Walker back into the mix. He is our best lockdown on smalls.

This might shock some people on here. Banfield being on the wing isn't a bad idea. We are not really got a lot of quality wingers on the list. Definately not one in the Calibre of a Hill Brother .

There were games where Banfield was in the back 50. He has a solid left foot too

I’m comfortable with Banfield on a flank at the back. He’s making good decisions. Wouldn’t mind Dudley in to put the acid on Freddy tbh.

I still prefer Omac to Draper as a defender, couple of shaky moments yesterday, but have we all forgotten why Draper was dropped? Defensively far more suspect.

Such a tough decision coming up on Fyfe - Johnson being injured helps his chances, but I just don't think we can have both Fyfe and JOM in the same team - it's too slow.
I think he may miss out on his fairytale finals farewell, as he just may not be best 22, and him and JOM effectively battling for one spot.

I don't want to write him off, as he's a champ, but we have to play the best side to win every game, and if that means Fyfe misses out, it's a the right thing to do.
