Delaying him a couple weeks when he's pulled up fine to get more kms in his legs. Pulled up fine last week but they opted to give him the extra rest.Question: how does Pearce come straight in on a long out. Oscar must be shotty

and Lukosious..Is OMac definitely out?
Port have Georgiades, Lord and Whitlock.
Decent height up forward.
Bit stiff on Will Brodie, emergency one week, close if not best on ground for peel and then can't even be in the emergencies the next, when we are crying out for a big inside mid. Oh well.Emergencies: Brandon Walker, Jeremy Sharp, Oscar McDonald
I think being emergency might mean he wouldn’t play for Peel and miss out altogether.Bit stiff on Will Brodie, emergency one week, close if not best on ground for peel and then can't even be in the emergencies the next, when we are crying out for a big inside mid. Oh well.

Wagner is named in the Peel team for Saturday, so he must be wanting some WAFL minutes before getting back to AFL.
Whitlock did go out.and Lukosious..
Wagner pulled up sore after last training session. He should be in the 22
Better player than a few listed
Its a joke
Now there is a soft player. Worner or Chapman can sort him out.and Lukosious..
Usually you get these rumours after a game when we’ve put up a really bad performance…Don’t like being the bearer of bad news, but have heard from a very credible source that the boys are sick. Don’t know how many, but I’m assuming a bunch. Here’s hoping that, for at least some of them, it started for the Carlton game and they’re better now.
Just speculating but that might be part of the reason why Fyfe and Pearce flew over yesterday. Might also have been a contributing factor to Wagner not being selected.
Yeh. Worner was sick and I think was partly isolated from the rest in training. Wouldn't be surprised it gets passed aroundDon’t like being the bearer of bad news, but have heard from a very credible source that the boys are sick. Don’t know how many, but I’m assuming a bunch. No doubt but watch him clunk and kick 3 50m bomb goals..Now there is a soft player. Worner or Chapman can sort him out.
Georgiades will tear Cox a new one. I'd put Chapman on him. Cox and Pearce work on and off Luko and Lord.Whitlock did go out.
Lord Lukosius and Georgiades.
Should be okay for match ups.
Chapman on Lukosius
Cox v Georgiades
Pearce v Lord
What's with the negativity on Cox? He's legitimately been solid as hell in the back half of the season, especially in those games when we were under siege...I'll back him to contain Georgiades, especially if the pressure up the field is good..Georgiades will tear Cox a new one
It's the matchup not Cox and his form. Georgiades is their #1 target by a mile, he's faster than Cox and jumps higher than Cox.What's with the negativity on Cox? They said earlier in the week that Worner trained away from the group due to illness so I’d say some were impacted last week.Don’t like being the bearer of bad news, but have heard from a very credible source that the boys are sick. Did we ever get to the bottom of the famous horror show against St Kilda in 2014 @ Docklands game.Usually you get these rumours after a game when we’ve put up a really bad performance…
100% the boys are locked in down thereI think our success lately has been built around team defense and our backs working together. We best try to avoid any 1 v1 where possible.
Fair enough, but I still feel like Cox doesn't get enough credit for his one-one-one defence, even if he is a bit suspect with someone quick on the lead...I dare say that he'll start on Georgiades and get help from Pearce, much like how they defended Sam Darcy earlier in the year...It's the matchup not Cox and his form. Doesn’t matter if Darcy kicks another five as long as they only kick five goals for the gameWell that didn't work out so well.![]()
