Don’t like being the bearer of bad news, but have heard from a very credible source that the boys are sick. Don’t know how many, but I’m assuming a bunch. Here’s hoping that, for at least some of them, it started for the Carlton game and they’re better now.
Just speculating but that might be part of the reason why Fyfe and Pearce flew over yesterday. Might also have been a contributing factor to Wagner not being selected.
Wagner pulled up sore after last training session.
Actually, my mistake, it was Draper and Pearce double-teaming Darcy after he tooth Pearce to the cleaners in the first quarter, whilst Cox kept Naughton pretty quiet for the game...but I digress...Well that didn't work out so well.![]()

Glass half full stuff is that Port have several of their players sick as well.Don’t like being the bearer of bad news, but have heard from a very credible source that the boys are sick. Could be adding 2 and 2 and getting 5, but fwiw they updated the WAFL teams. Only 1 of the 3 AFL emergencies (Walker) is in the team. Sharp and OMac aren't.Don’t like being the bearer of bad news, but have heard from a very credible source that the boys are sick. Don’t know how many, but I’m assuming a bunch. Or a 2015 Fyfe before injuriesAre we this team plus + a 2019 Fyfe away from a flag?
I really hope the dockers beat Port in a similar way crows beat Port.Bring it on I say. Finals will be harder than this game. Might as well take on the challenge. We should be the ones that are up and about for this game. We're hunting an elusive premiership and its right there.
Port are similar to Carlton this season. They only play half a game so if were close at half time we will roll over them.
No, has nothing to do with that. Clark already explained this earlier in the week. It's just a routine thing caused by not being able to fly home till Sunday.Don’t like being the bearer of bad news, but have heard from a very credible source that the boys are sick. That makes no sense. Why would Pearce and Fyfe opt to spend an extra night away from home when they’re already going back to Perth later than usual? No, has nothing to do with that. Our home form is very good I’d back us to beat anyone there. Can’t say the same for awayAnyone else more worried about port then Brisbane
I'm worried about everyone.Anyone else more worried about port then Brisbane

Are you sure? Port nearly lost to eagles of all teams 4 weeks ago at Adelaide ovalWe will beat Port.
I think it is because we usually fly two days before the game and they wanted to keep the routine. That makes no sense. Why would Pearce and Fyfe opt to spend an extra night away from home when they’re already going back to Perth later than usual?
So we will definitely beat them then? Are you sure? Port nearly lost to eagles of all teams 4 weeks ago at Adelaide oval
I remember reading one time about a theory that for every hour of travel you need add a day prior to leaving. That makes no sense. Why would Pearce and Fyfe opt to spend an extra night away from home when they’re already going back to Perth later than usual?
That’s what’s been said. In my experience, though, non-trivial decisions (like the decision to change a routine) are as often as not based on an assessment of a whole range of factors, such that this could be part of the reason. Of course, it doesn’t make any difference whether it was or not, but the other way to look at it is that those who flew over yesterday have been isolated from the sickies, and hopefully are less likely to come down with it.No, has nothing to do with that.
