We shouldn’t be a team that needs to worry about these sort of games, yet every year it seems we need to rely on other results to go our way.

We do enough to make finals in an “average AFL season”, but any deviation and suddenly it comes down to other results and or a game like this.

Extremely frustrating, predictable and something that just shouldn’t happen. If we don’t make it, it’s entirely on us.

Comes down to the attitude of our players. Proper Focus and commitment of a team wanting to go deep this year and it will be a comfortable win, anything less we leave ourselves open. Would be the same with or without Goodwin as coach

There were wild momentum swings in the Kings B'Day match against the Pies. They lost by one point.

The Dees rank top six in second and third quarters. That's so random for a team sitting 12th. You usually get that in the first half of the season when there's a smaller sample size, but for that to be the case after 20 rounds is quite rare. It shows how random their form can be. They are certainly capable of beating a top nine team or at the very least causing them trouble. It's quite possibly a mental thing for them. Are they mentally up to it this week? If so, prepare yourself for some heartache.

He’s the one guy that we doesn’t have an obvious matchup for and can turn a game almost single handedly. I’d give Williams the job on Petracca when he’s forward.
