The biggest selection dilemma is which clandestine location Goody and Fagan choose to work out details on the manufactured draw.

Agree.I feel if we make the 4 and lose the QF I'm very confident in the semi, but if we finish 5th and play the EF first up I can see us falling apart. Carlton/Richmond/Dogs are going to come out and play their GF in that first final you just know it.

Which is clearly not good enoughGoody will make no changes IMO
I think he's more or less settled on the 22 and is now looking for continuity.
Might shuffle Tmac in if he's good to go and we've lost a final though
Mate, don't think we are going into essentially a final against Brissy in Brissy with Joel Smith as our key forward, who has kicked 2 goals in his career.Out - Brown, Sparrow
In - Smith, Harmes
Given he has been playing up forward in the VFL and going ok is probably a better proposition than Brown right now.Mate, don't think we are going into essentially a final against Brissy in Brissy with Joel Smith as our key forward, who has kicked 2 goals in his career.
He's played as a defender his whole career but is clearly now training as a forward. Don't know why they're bothering with that now if they don't see him as a legitimate option for our forwardline.Mate, don't think we are going into essentially a final against Brissy in Brissy with Joel Smith as our key forward, who has kicked 2 goals in his career.

I'd be amazed if TMac plays again this season. Doubt he'll be ready fitness wise until 2nd week of finals then he'd need match fitness and he struggles when he comes back from injury. I think the 22 is settled, besides maybe Harmes coming in.Goody will make no changes IMO

I like the Smith idea but I can't see Goody trialling it this late in the season unless Fritta gets injured. I'd say he's the backup for Fritsch at this point.Smith will stick a knee into any and every available back. At the least it'll look like footy kicking to him.
Seems Melk is playing half of Fritch's spot. Smith makes sense while we're playing kick to kick in Brown's spot. Aware it likely won't happen, just saying it should.I like the Smith idea but I can't see Goody trialling it this late in the season unless Fritta gets injured. There’s a difference between him playing as a forward and him playing as our only key forward. They moved him up there when Brown’s knee was keeping him out. He's played as a defender his whole career but is clearly now training as a forward. No current season stats available
He kicked 16 career AFL goalsColin Garland just kicked 13 goals in the Tasmanian State League
It's not Neil Bullen, it's Nil Bullen ffs.
Will be enjoyable watching Max King kick us out of 2nd spot.If you want a breakdown of what needs to happen over the weekend for the Mighty Demons to get 2nd (or whatever) this link explains it nicely:-

TLDR Best Result
Beat Lions by 15 points more than what the Swans beat the Saints by = second place.
Numbers wise JJ was doing ok, but plays very safe and quite slow with decision making etc. Maybe Gus goes back to the wing? Or they rotate a couple through there (Hunt for run? Salem, ANB maybe?)Harmes in for Jordon.
Very surprised, whilst I like Sparrow's toughness, I thought JJ has been much better than him recently. Not sure who'll play on the second wing now
I reckon the wingers club is back.Actually, maybe Brayshaw will so Harmes can tag Neale.
