I feel if we make the 4 and lose the QF I'm very confident in the semi, but if we finish 5th and play the EF first up I can see us falling apart. Carlton/Richmond/Dogs are going to come out and play their GF in that first final you just know it.

Given he has been playing up forward in the VFL and going ok is probably a better proposition than Brown right now.

He's played as a defender his whole career but is clearly now training as a forward. Don't know why they're bothering with that now if they don't see him as a legitimate option for our forwardline.

Probably a backup 'In case of emergency' option if Brown goes down, and they have no confidence in Weid. I like the idea of trialing Smith as a forward at senior level, but it needed to happen weeks ago (and if I recall he was injured?). I think that ship has probably sailed.

For better or worse, I don't see us making any changes from now until our 2022 ends in one fashion or another, assuming no injuries. This is with the possible exception of Harmes for Sparrow, which really should happen this week (I'd probably be bringing him in and sending him to Neale). Tend to agree that Goody is locked in.

He's not exactly one for selection surprises. PROVE ME WRONG, GOODY.

I'd be amazed if TMac plays again this season. Doubt he'll be ready fitness wise until 2nd week of finals then he'd need match fitness and he struggles when he comes back from injury. I think the 22 is settled, besides maybe Harmes coming in.

I like the Smith idea but I can't see Goody trialling it this late in the season unless Fritta gets injured. I'd say he's the backup for Fritsch at this point.

Seems Melk is playing half of Fritch's spot. Smith makes sense while we're playing kick to kick in Brown's spot. Aware it likely won't happen, just saying it should.

There’s a difference between him playing as a forward and him playing as our only key forward. They moved him up there when Brown’s knee was keeping him out.

Numbers wise JJ was doing ok, but plays very safe and quite slow with decision making etc. Maybe Gus goes back to the wing? Or they rotate a couple through there (Hunt for run? Salem, ANB maybe?)
