Voss isn't going to get dropped. He just almost played a 5 goal game as a power forward, just didn't actually kick the goals. I think someone posted his stats vs Treacy and apart from the accuracy they were very similar. He's offering a lot more than Reidy. And to be honest, if he learns to kick straight he'll be offering a fair bit more than Amiss right now too.
He’s should not be dropped because we don’t have anyone better to come into the team.

Needs to be told to pull his head in and look for the leads in those low percentage shots, but otherwise he does a lot right for a 21 year old KPF who hasn’t played 10 games.

Nah they’ll be playing footy. But it’ll be limited minutes for Peel. They had no pre season at all.

Let’s wait and see. They may not want to bring both back jn the same game but last year Darcy had an interrupted pre season and didn’t play until round six and didn’t spend any time at Peel, just came straight back in

He will never be, right up until he is, and given he had five shots at goal against the Swans (big improvement on Reidy) we should want him at peace with his own ability to kick the set shot - not looking for the hand off because his confidence is shot, even under the guise of being pro-team.

The guy's played as a forward his whole career, he obviously knows how to kick goals. Just got a case of the yips.

The counter argument to that is every premiership team has role players and average foot soldiers. Let's not forget Joel Hamling is a premiership player. Cox is better than him.

Cox plays 1 bad game and knives are out. The guy was in AA squad in 2022 and is just coming into his prime now and just signed a contract until 2030. So they had better get used to him.

When was the last time he played a good game 🤔

He played a starring role in our last two single digit losses. Patience is getting thin

I wouldn't drop Ras, he's cracking in and his kicking (remarkably off both sides) seems to have improved. His handballing may be the worst at AFL level I've ever seen though. He should just throw it every time and hope he gets away with it, probably less turnovers...

A guy who can pretty much only play in-and-under who can't handball...

Doesn't bode well for him ever making the grade.

Justin on channel 7 said Darcy to play WAFL and hinted at Young also playing WAFL. Specifically re: Young “we’ll work through that”. I’d be very surprised if they don’t play WAFL for a week or two. He said Nat Fyfe needs another WAFL game.

Yeah injury report said they will be back for selection next week.

His whole career spans 8 games. Before the Sydney game Anthony Morabito had played almost 4x as many.

They aren't comparable but I remember Lance's 2007 season where he really had the radar off, constantly getting in his own head about it. One game kicking 2.11 against the Dogs. He was getting so many looks and eventually it clicks.

Similar with Lewis Jetta kicking nineteen points before finally landing a goal.

Not backing him might cost us a talent.

Brodie should come in and replace Walker and just get in the middle. Leave NOD on the wing.
JOM complicates everything. Sure he had a good solid game. But is he someone you want to have strong games in a side that’s young? Those type of guys/performances are for his old team, Hawthorn, when they were rebuilding. It’s pretty dire if that’s the best we can do
Thought O'Meara was great, if you want to keep turfing blokes who play well for younger guys who might play well then hearing that sentence about how we're one of the youngest lists in the comp will said into infinity..

I have no problem with guys celebrating goals in games, but Voss does it in match sim!?!?

If you watch Collingwood, they celebrate the spoils and tackles. They all go in and give the tackler a high five.

It’s contagious. It’s something that Fremantle probably needs. Every small wins add positivity and drive.

That’s the negativity of the game plan. It always comes down to the final moments.
V Carlton last season. A touch mark. They get in front and an umpire dissent.

V GWS. A 50m penalty to Hogan.

V Port. Two moments and it’s over.

Not saying Voss isn’t to blame but gee really dislike the defensive game plan coming down to one or two shots. 9 goals against almost always win, however kicking 9 goals doesn’t either.

The club/players really need to stop letting one or two moments affect the game like it does. 4 goals to none at quarter time. Should just blow them out and not have such an issue with Voss. But unfortunately it’s pretty intense.

I’m dropping Amiss. One mark I50 in two games, against the second best defender on each team because Treacy is getting the number 1.

That’s piss poor. He can’t just go missing the way he has.

He's a bit out of form but I thought his last quarter was OK when he worked up the ground. He just needs to find ways to get involved when it's not happening for him up forward.
If he's still struggling in two weeks, a run for Peel might help, but currently there's nobody except Reidy to replace him and there's no WAFL yet anyway.

Dropping Amiss for who?

Took 2 contested marks, which for our forwards was key for ball movement.

Treacy took two as well. Frederick and Jackson one each.

He was fine.
