Go check the swans board. They're still sooking about 2016 umpires. Now that's salty
Do they still think they lost because of the umpires? Maybe they should rewatch the game instead of rewriting history.

I don't mind it, people forget Buddy is not really a contested marking option forward so going a tad smaller seems ok as long as structures hold up and Woody & Co. can chop a few off

Might not be so much about how many times he gets the ball himself.
He might be needed to help mentor the others in defence. You can't run an effective zone defence with half the blokes (Naughton, Richards and potentially Young) having played fewer than 10 games. They have to be cohesive and they need experienced blokes to talk them through it.
I agree, but my point is he has to start playing a lot better. Was constantly in and out the team last year, only played a handful of decent games since th flag.

9th in our BnF last year and I thought he was bloody good in the second half of the year (after a poor start). He's then played one poor game this year when the whole team was awful.
Was also very average in the reserves last week from what I read. I don’t think it’s a bad option, after Roberts would get murdered by Buddy and Young is just that...A bit too young just at this point!

Keep in mind Bevo knows what he will get with Biggs. Some players don’t have the capability to dominate reserves games (particularly outside half back types). His disposal is generally pretty good, so I’m confident he will repay the faith.

Wood to start on buddy when forward and when he pushes in the midfield, Wood stays back and Jong should stick to him.

Thought Roberts would be the logical replacement for Cordy, who played a commanding game last week.

A bit worried that outside of Naughton we don't have a suitable match up for Buddy. We are asking a lot of the kid, and the back up options are all a bit on the small side.

Would also have liked to see Boyd or Roughead in to give English a chop out. Whilst he competed well and did better than expected last week, similar to Naughton, we are asking a lot of the kid.

Let's hope that we bring the same commitment and intensity that we brought last week, and lock the ball in our own forward line.

what, you are not dropping.Ling Jong? are you feeling well MD?

He did next to nothing but I think the whole team should be rewarded for that effort.

We are miles off where we should be so I’m not worried about success this year, play the blokes who are in the team and give effort.

Did Roughy pass his concussion test?

Do people think bonts will play close to pure fwd again? Seems crazy to have close to best mid sitting forward so much
With our current forward set up it's a bit of a necessity. He will pay a bit forward, a bit on the ball and even ruck a little. What those that claim he is over rated don't understand, is that he does EVERYTHING well. If we need him to play a different role, he'll do It, and do it very well.
