Our forward line > Our back line
These 7:
Taberner
Darcy / Lobb
Treacey
Walters
Frederick
Schultz
Colyer
vs:
Cox
Logue
Ryan
Chapman
Hughes
Conca
Wilson
looking at those 7 man teams I think the forwards shade the backs.

Out of that group of players the ones that really stand out for me are Frederick and Chapman. How does a fit Hammer and Moose change your view?
I actually agree based on the above, but think it’s close to a draw.
If Logue ever gets a run at it I think he can be a superstar defender like a Rance level, but at the moment can’t see any forwards getting there (or back there in Walters’ case).

Really disappointing that Sturt doesnt appear to be playing footy at any level this weekend. It’s not like he’s doesn’t need to get games into him. Barely played since he arrived at the club. Unless they are hiding some injury reoccurrence. [emoji848]
I get the love for Schultz with his effort and determination and even Colyer after last weeks second half, but these types will never be of value in the future when we are hopefully playing big finals games. Sturt might well be, on the other hand. We don’t know yet coz we have barely ever seen him play!
I don’t mind schultzy. Have him well ahead of Colyer actually. But he’s a questionable set shot. Sturt (from the very limited vision we have seen) appears to be a very accurate set shot. What a novelty for dockers fans!Disagree. Richmond have multiple small forwards who are pretty much like Schultz tbh.
I'd say it is far more likely than unlikely we see both Meek and Sturt playing for Peel in Pingelly later today.I did feel sturts tacking pressure needs a lot of improvement after last week. Would be ok with him going back to peel to focus on that. But he’s not playing at Peel either this weekend!
A change I would like this week is people spelling Treacy correctly.
It's really not that hard.
Eliza Reilly managed to spell it twice as Tracey in an article yestreday. I've seen Treacey quite a few times as well.

Haven’t they named a 22 for peel without those lads though? Or does that even mean anything?I'd say it is far more likely than unlikely we see both Meek and Sturt playing for Peel in Pingelly later today.

The emergencies for Freo don't get named at Peel initially. Every week there are a couple of extra Freo guys brought into the Peel line up close to the game.Haven’t they named a 22 for peel without those lads though? Or does that even mean anything?
I can (almost) understand the logic of this for home games or even away games when Peel plays after Freo. The emergencies for Freo don't get named at Peel initially. Every week there are a couple of extra Freo guys brought into the Peel line up close to the game.
WTF has money got to do with it. The young bloke has played well since given a chance, love his second efforts and post tap work. With Lobby coming back in so quickly It's sad for him he is the one to be pushed out. I wasn't saying Lobb shouldn't come in.
Absolutely, these 4 games have been great development for Meek. He can continue to develop and provide backup if required. All teams need a viable backup ruck.Meek has not performed nearly at Lobb’s level in any of the games he played. Darcy is ramping up his fitness and game time in the last two weeks and was the only impressive part of the ruck duo last week.
Meek could’ve almost been dropped based on his performances in the last two games alone. Lobb returning just makes it a far easier decision.
It’s good to know we have a decent back up ruck (looked much better in the first two games as the main man) but it’s time for our real ruck duo to take it to another level.
I didn’t realise this was was the case. If Sturt is playing for peel this weekend building his minutes and improving his tackling I’m totally ok with that. Someone will have a stinker in the forward line at AFL level pretty soon and he will be back in. It’s freo after all.The emergencies for Freo don't get named at Peel initially. Every week there are a couple of extra Freo guys brought into the Peel line up close to the game.
Forgot about the Peel game. Harsh if he was dropped.2 games, he played wafl too
He probably plays for peel this week too so may have just been dropped
People still spell Schultz incorrectly so I don't have much hope.A change I would like this week is people spelling Treacy correctly.

Agreed it's quite harsh but there were a few missed tackles and when we have cemented best 22 like shooter to come in someone needs to go, another 5 for wafl and a stinker from trav should see him back next weekForgot about the Peel game. Harsh if he was dropped.
He's 100% playing for Peel, he'll be listed as a non travelling emergency for the Adelaide game. The two listed will always end up playing for Peel. Meek will join him.I don’t mind schultzy. Have him well ahead of Colyer actually. But he’s a questionable set shot. Sturt (from the very limited vision we have seen) appears to be a very accurate set shot. What a novelty for dockers fans!

That was to do with soft tissue I think. And will travel down to Pingelly, given the coaching staff said they were already nervous about not 100% fit players playing there? IMO he will play for Peel next week.
