Ah no. Rankine plays basically as the most attacking midfielder who starts in the centre square often but who plays more like a half forward in general play. I want Brayshaw to man him at centre bouncedowns and Clark to take him in general play.

Chappy is way more suited to playing on someone who stays closer to goal.

We seem to have issues with these handovers from midfield to defence. It looks like an artifact of setting up aggressively at stoppages.

Ras was never coming in to replace JOM even if he was match fit. JOM has primarily been playing outside since round 2. All games well below 50% of CBA's and he was exactly 50% before coming off against the Dees. I don't think he'll be getting a game until either his second position improves (half forward presumably. If I even see him glance the wing I'll implode) or a primary centre mid is injured.

Johnson will get the extra CBA's to practise his blocking.

I’ve been a Worner believer since I had him as best on in the first home game last season right up till he went down. Interestingly I also had O’Mac in our best & he went down shortly after so talk about kiss of death.

I thought MJ played his best ever games against Richmond & the Eagles which may not be a good thing if he only beats up on poor teams.

Freddy has fallen into that basket too unfortunately. He dominates when the pressure is lower but becomes the invisible man when the heat comes.

It’s one thing Reid has shown from day dot. He just keeps rising to the level. He might take a few contests to find the pace then he levels up & starts to get his touches when he can make them count. You can’t teach that shiz.

Worner has shown a bit lately, probs still have lapses, but he's only at the start.
Coaches obvs see something in him, worth persevering with.

A lot of concessional draft picks, NGA and FS, allowed him to drop.

Idk if I’m in the minority but everything I’ve seen from Johnson tells me that he has a long term future here. Biggest issue imo is that his centre bounce numbers are way too low and he doesn’t find as much of the ball in the position he plays.

Very different to Ras who I haven’t seen anything off him to suggest he’s an AFL player.

I'm with you on Johnno but tend to give more benefit of the doubt to Ras who I think has done enough at the lower level but not gotten the same level of leeway at the top level.

Or Wagner. He played mid for Peel last week and spent time on a wing in match sims over the preseason. Narkle might not be sub. Its just the West thinking he will be.

I went one step further and called the Fremantle membership office and they just sent me every individual ticket of each home game as PDF. Always wondered why they don’t do this in the first place anyway
