Changes Round 7

If I it was up to me I'd make these changes:

In:Post, Browne, Webberley, Jackson
Out:Miller, Graham, Edwards, Grigg

Do you want to have Miller making up numbers up forward and just there for 1 percenters or do you want Post offering a 3rd exciting tall? Pretty simple answer. As for Grigg, his kicking was very disappointing last night.

MT, I found this on the RFC website:

"Against the Lions, he (Grigg) had 15 kicks, 10 handballs and seven tackles, the equal highest number of tackles in the team with Robin Nahas."

"After concentrating on winning the ball for three quarters against the Lions, Grigg had the job of trying to quell the rampant Simon Black in the last quarter.

"Grigg restricted Black to just a few possessions in the final quarter."

Looks like Grigg is a lock for next week's game Vs Freo.

As already stated, the club isnt likely to be making wholesale chages to a winning team.

OUT: Tuck (inj)
IN: Jackson

I was at the game tonight and watched Angus Graham closely. He is EASILY the laziest player I have seen pull on this jumper (excepting Kayne Pettifer). I don't care how well he taps out; he is an absolute liability around the ground. I understand that he's not the most naturally gifted player, but that never excuses lack of effort (see: King, White, Nahas).

For the love of god, send the right message to the rest of the team - it's just rubbish. Vickery's chase down of McGrath is something Graham will never do.

Out: Tuck (if injured), Graham
In: Jackson, Browne

At the end of the day, Graham or Browne will most definately struggle against their man-mountain.

I'd say Jackson for Tuck and Browne for Graham, provided they are injured along with Webberley for Nason

His first quarter was deplorable and deserves to get droped for that effort where he i think had a shot on goal and complety missed kicked it and pretty much hit jack in the head.

Thats the one mistake i'm talking about and he deserves to get dropped for it?? Does Jack deserve to be dropped for shanking a shot out on the full?? Cotchin for the couple of shots he missed on the run? Martin shanked a couple including an out on the full. Deledio blazed away from defensive 50 to no one but a couple of lions. Foley had about 8 handballs to players feet and an absolute shocker to Nason running thru the midfield that resulted in a turn over and goal. Could go back the week before and keep finding bad mistakes by our entire team.

Edwards was no superstar but he was clean and clever apart from that shank into 50 and a handball to a stationary Graham but Edwards was under quite a bit of pressure.

Again i dont think there will be many changes this week. Probably just Jackson in for Tuck. Would like to see Webbery given a game but i cant see them dropping anyone after a win. Im not too sure about Edwards, he was great last year but seems to be a bit out of form at the moment. Seeing as there is nobody really belting the door down from Coburg i think its best to stick with him for now.

In: Jackson (back from suspension)
Out: Tuck (injured)

Every week we have people calling for mass changes. Just goes to show how little some people know. You don't screw around with a winning line up. The only thing you would consider is replacements for either injuries or suspension.
So if Tuck has knackered ribs, then Jackson in. If Newmans hammy doesn't come up, maybe Webberly, that's all you'd consider.
All these people calling for Gus and Nasons head realise our ressies have been pumped the last two weeks??? There aint to many high performers in the magoos at the mo.

Cant believe those who want Nason dropped. 2nd half of the 3rd qtr, and last qtr he was fantastic (8 disposal last qtr)

Sub - 58% game time, 12 disp, 83% eff, 9 contested, 8 pressure acts, 2 goals 2, 1 assist, 8 score involvements.

Dimma would have given him a big pat on the back and said well done son, more of the same next week.

You must be an awesome bloke

Guess what, it's a joke!

In fact it is a compliment too! We rank Sandilands so much, we would rather he not played.

I, however, would like to see your best side over at the "G" to see how we are coming along, now that our boys have a bit of confidence up. It will give us an idea of how much off the mark we really are.

I agree with you here SA. Our ruck stocks in general are uninspiring and the option of Browne isn't overally enticing. I think it would almost be better to wait one more week for Browne and bring him in against the Dogs where he will be playing a less influential ruck such as Minson. Whilst Graham has been poor, I feel he gets the nod this week over browne due to the fact it is Sandlilands this week. Browne needs to grow in stature and confidence and a first up start against Sandi looks unenticing.

The win was good for moral..there will not be any major changes..Richmond will get over FREMANTLE quite comfortable...believe it or not Richmond will not drop this game..29 point win....

Browne to get a game?

Browne of the game he played for the reserves with 28 nock outs and 20 possessions should be rewarded with a game :thumbsu:

I say we should Rotate the x factor aka Tom .D with the big man aka Browne from ruck to defense this game.

Expecially with freos big man down front sandilands

Hate to say it, but I think this is laughable. You don't bring in two fresh ruckman off a win, and against Sandilands unless you plan to absolutely cripple your side. Putting one of them down back permananently? Suicide. Would be like playing 17 men on the field.

There will be a time for these boys, but its not this weekend. Ruck stocks, like the rest of the team, remain unchanged.
