Also when was the last time Duman actually played?
If he isnt carrying some sort of injury concern it's BS
Blakey was big for us last year and would stand up to what I expect Richmond will throw at us this week
There are at least 4 playerst hrough mid-HB I can think of in the team that would be below him in the best 22

Odd and annoying
This is assuming Blakely comes in and picks up where he left off mid last year or whenever it was.
Maybe he isn't AFL match ready?
I'm sure there is pretty good logic behind the decision.
We are going well. Time to put a little trust in the coach and players and not jump at shadows when someone has one offish game.
Blakely will be back when the time is right, I'm sure.

I wouldn't be surprised if Blakely's not 100% yet. It was a pretty decent injury.
Was looking fwd to Fyfe, Mundy, Blakely and Walters in the middle for the bouncedown this weekend...

Is it too early to start a round 9 Changes thread? This one's turned into a fizzer.
Perhaps a wary S&C decision. Given the soft tissue history?
He's been out 10 months although did get a big training block in early pre-season.
Maybe they are being conservative and building him.
I'm good with the decision.
Current team has been competitive EVERY single game so far. Back them in for now.

Bit of a different fitness standard between AFL and WAFL though.
I don't always agree on an ultra-cautious approach (not sure that's gotten Freo anywhere in the past), but I'd imagine the thinking is that what's riding on this one game is nothing compared to having him right to go for the rest of the season and beyond.
I was hoping for Blakley in.
I expect Darcey in.
Maybe Hogan or McCarthy out.
Anyone else and we are too tall.
