Not bad on paper.

If Cox can recapture his early 2018 form we've got someone who can compete well in the ruck, crash packs in the forward line and pluck some much needed grabs up the ground.

Sad for McCarthy as he really looked to turn his game around, hope he takes the opportunity by the balls dominates at Peel.

Harley Bennell can also string WAFL games together. As soon as he plays AFL, Goneski.... it is not the same

I understand what your saying but using Bennell wasn’t a good example. The guy has done his most recent exacerbations jogging in the training warmup. He has also aggravated his calf in WAFL about eleventy seventy times and about the only place he hasn’t aggravated his calf was in the two AFL games he played in the back end of 2017.

Re: Blakely, for what it’s worth I don’t think the hamstring is the issue. He has shown through volume of training, been given clear bill of health by S&C and also completed 2 WAFL games indicating that his hamstring is fine. I think that he is just short of 100% conditioning.

Webb in the WAFL report indicated that he played 3 quarters with some short bench spells in the midfield before playing the last quarter off HBF. Also his first WAFL game he barely touched the ball in the first half and was blowing hard before he started to find his groove.

A weekend running session - churning out the kms should have him good to go.

This also added to the reluctance to drop one of the existing midfield rotations. I would drop Colyer but his speed is certainly a factor on the quick deck of Optus.

So he waits another week - the world won’t collapse as a result. When SHill is ready after the bye he will certainly need a week or 2 of WAFL match conditioning.

as soon as he is fit and I think he has demonstrated that he is.
You think that he has...that doesnt mean the staff of the Fremantle Football club think he has....Thats my point :)
I can guarantee you 150% that as soon as the club thinks he is fit and that he demonstrates that he is, then he will be in the team....

Interesting. Any gamesmanship being played out here? At what point prior to Sunday are we unable to change out a player for Blakely? Also, are Richmond already on the plane by now?

What’s your name? Mudd... You’re quite brilliant Mudd. Let me tell you failure is feedback. It’s not ideal but it is what it is, and it’s never as good as seems nor as bad as it seems. Nice chatting with ya and remember one swallow doesn’t make a summer.

How can a team that only kicked five goals on a sunny afternoon and lost not have anyone that played their way out?

I don’t think anyone deserved to be dropped from last week, I think regardless of the score the team as a whole gave enormous effort and deserves to be back on the park for another go around.
